There is always some backlash when national figures, even Trump, get involved in a state level races. It triggers a natural defensiveness.
Same deal for the nation. If we are among Americans we will slag the USA all day, but if we here a European insult the USA we will jump to is defense.

Kemp’s polls against the fat gapped tooth bitch are much better than Purdue’s.
Purdue has been missing just about everywhere during this campaign cycle. Few to no events and few tv ads.
Fox News wants Kemp to win, and all the voters need is to get Kemp below 50% for a runoff. Fox News polls are bad.
