Boyko was threatened with suspicion of the "Kharkiv agreements", but the MP did not appear for questioning

The former head of the pro-Russian OPP party faction in the Rada, and now the head of the platform for life and peace parliamentary group, Yuriy Boyko, was summoned for questioning by the State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) on Monday, May 16. The politician was supposed to give evidence in the case of the "Kharkiv agreements".

OBOZREVATEL learned about this from its own sources. According to the source, there was a possibility that Boyko might be declared suspicious.

However, he did not appear for questioning at the bureau.

Recall:

-the so-called Kharkiv agreements were signed on April 21, 2010 in Kharkiv by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. They assumed that Ukraine was actually leasing Crimea to the Russian Black Sea Fleet indefinitely, for which Moscow gave Kiev a discount on gas in the form of cancellation of customs duties.

Video of the day

-Thus, according to the agreements, the period of stay of the Black Sea fleet of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol was extended from 2017 to 2042 with an automatic extension for another 5 years, unless either side expresses objections.

-The ratification of the Kharkiv agreements was submitted to the Parliament of the VI convocation on April 27, 2010, and this meeting was one of the most scandalous in Ukrainian history.

-The Kharkiv agreements were ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the State Duma of the Russian Federation on April 27, 2010.

-On March 11, 2021, the national security and Defense Council instructed to check whether the ratification of the Kharkiv agreements by 236 people's deputies in 2010 was high treason.

-In July 2021, the SBU summoned five people's deputies for questioning in the scandalous case, who were also people's deputies in 2010, when the Rada ratified the "agreements". Among them was Yuriy Boyko.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the faction of the pro – Kremlin political party "opposition platform-for life" in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has stopped working. Its activities were stopped in accordance with the decision of the national security and Defense Council.

Former deputies of the faction created a new parliamentary group in the parliament called "platform for life and peace" (PZHM). It includes 23 deputies headed by Boyko, in particular Oleg Voloshin and Nestor Shufrich, who were included in the list of collaborators by the Chesno movement.

Hey, that elected rep is but one of 236 under investigation by the GBR./s

And we have a lot of people on this forum who support this nonsense with $40bil, no strings attached.

And are willing to risk existential war with the country that seeks to depose them through force of arms.

All you have to do is cry Russia! Russia! Russia! and they will respond as they have been conditioned to.

And they have all the platitudes ready as to why it’s in the US interest to support Ukraine. But never able to cite a real interest. Not even “cool tourism” lol

It was a simple question, posed without rancor. Yet, you respond with this bullshit: “Why do you “slobber Ukraini” and walk in lockstep with Soros, Nuland, Hillary and Biden?”

Somehow, I knew you wouldn’t answer. Because you can’t, because you lack the courage of your convictions.

“I support neither of those corrupt governments.”

I understand that. But you support Russia’s invasion. Why is that?

Yes, but of course. They are both foul.

Everyone knows Ukraine's army in the last 80 days has invaded the Belgorod Oblast in Russia just east of Ukraine as well, and has literally obliterated cities and towns like Orlovka, Ugrim, Komsomolskya, and committed numerous atrocities in Belovskoe, has used thermobaric weapons on schools, has tried to stage referendums to make parts of western Russian territory of Ukraine, and they have caused a massive refugee crisis of Russians fleeing the western parts of RF to other parts of Russian inland. And Ukraine now has nearly 70% of the United Nations arrayed against their bloodthirsty murders. The rapes, kidnappings of Russians to labor camps out west of Lviv is horrid. /sarc

Those two. BOTH HORRID.

That is the biggest bullcrud excuse and I think necessarily forces you to defend, then, why you line up with the likes of Moscow, Havana, Pyongyang, Tehran, Damascus, Managua, Caracas, Minsk and every other socialist/communist backwater. Enjoy you own nasty, foul authoritarian bolshevik deep state around the world run by Putin. Try.

“Those two. BOTH HORRID.”

The morality is naive.

And hypocritical in the context of the other hot spots in the world where the murder and destruction is worse.

A truly moral man would intervene in Darfur before Ukraine.

“But you support Russia’s invasion. Why is that?”

Actually, I don’t support their invasion per se.

But I would certainly have done the same as them in the same circumstances, only more effectively.

Their strategy was severely flawed.

Moving ground assault forces without first establishing air dominance, then eliminating logistics infrastructure, was the stuff of elementary school kids. They had the precision weapons to do so at the onset, but squandered them.

You just contradicted yourself. You’re just disappointed Russia hasn’t won yet.

“You just contradicted yourself.”

A 12yr old girl would allow her emotions to cause her to believe that.

But most who speak English can discern the difference.

You said you don’t support the Russian invasion, but that you would have done the same thing.

You don’t see the contradiction?

It’s like saying, “I don’t believe in love, but I love my wife anyway.”
