Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell took three Republican senators along on a surprise trip to Kyiv Saturday for a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — where he called on the US to designate Russia as a “terrorist state.”
“I believe that this visit once again demonstrates … the strength of ties between the Ukrainian and American nations,” Zelensky said in his nightly video address, even as a bipartisan bill to send $40 billion in additional aid remained stalled in Congress — while both Finland and Sweden inched closer to joining NATO.

The US never did this with the USSR when it actually did support some terrorist groups.
Russia supports none. The US has supported al Qaeda & other headchopper terrorist groups in Syria, Libya & elsewhere.
Doing something this stupid now would put our entire country at unneeded higher risk.

I loathe this guy more every time he opens his mouth, and he does so way too much. He’s hardly a statesman, he just a clown actor playing a role, and that’s painfully obvious. I don’t want to wish death on anyone, but if somebody managed to take him out I certainly won’t be shedding any tears over it.
