Parents and politicians alike are slamming President Biden for his failure to address the US' ongoing baby formula shortage - with one distressed dad saying 'never did I think I would have a problem finding food for my baby in America.'
The backlash against Biden comes as the formula shortage has reached crisis levels in recent weeks, with at least 12 states facing 40 percent or higher out of stock rates.
As shelves across the country meant to carry formula remain largely barren, parents such as Russell Bleck, a husband and father in Lexington, Kentucky, have become desperate to get their hands on the all important product.

Sometimes there are problems and women can’t breast feed.
Because U.S. babies have a good chance of growing up to vote GOP. Imported babies can more easily be brainwashed to vote RAT; supporting them makes sense to Biden.
Sloppy Joes answer is “Yer doin’ it for Ukraine. Yea!!!!!”
I’m not a mom so don’t know for sure, but are all mothers physically able to breastfeed? I truly don’t know.
I’ve always believed that formulas, etc., was one of the unintended consequences of the feminist movement when women were shamed into having careers instead of being at-home mothers. Find another way to feed the babies so you’re not inconvenienced in a board meeting.

Liberal Mothers Asking Their Infants For Permission To Pick Them Up https://thefederalistpapers.org/us/liberal-mothers... To prevent their sons from one day participating in a non-existent “rape culture,” liberal mothers have begun asking their permission before picking them up.
“Seriously? I hadn’t heard that. We’re not as populated as some of the Third World countries, so why us?”
1) They’ll say we consume too much.
2) We’re too white.
THE DEMOCRAT PLAN
1 - Make gasoline so scarce and expensive that American citizens will have to turn to electric powered cars or move into congested cities where they will rely on public transportation networks.
2 - Make baby formula so scarce and expensive that American citizens (especially working whites) will have fewer babies either through birth control, abortions or pushing them toward same-sex relationships
Plenty of formula.. just breastfeed then switch to real food. Getting infant boys off that soy stuff may create Men who think and act like men.
Answer.... Because Commie Brack hasn't written those words to joe's teleprompter yet. This is a crisis that is golden and too valuable to waste.
I hope that all those who voted for this chaos are enjoying it.....
“In addition to the normal option of Breastfeeding.”
Breastfeeding is the most nutritional option if the mother is healthy. That said, my kids would have starved as my wife did not produce enough milk to breastfeed.
lol - yeah. It somewhat exposes the obvious. All because of our modern “convenience”. People that lived 100 years ago would be laughing at us...isn’t it free and readily available from the mother? The choices we make...
I agree, lets start with politicians and lawyers.
HARDER to rule over the more educated & more intelligent & harder working???
For thousands of years, babies were nourished without “baby formula.” This seems like unnecessary hysteria.
*******************************************
It is not unnecessary hysteria when you can’t feed your baby. I understand that the preferred method would be to breastfeed. However, some women do have a problem breastfeeding. I never made enough milk, so I always had to supplement with formula.
The vast majority of new mothers make every effort to breastfeed. Even if they have to go to work, they will pump and store breast milk for their babies. Sometimes it doesn’t work out despite mother, child, father, nursing coach, and physicians trying as hard as they can. Sometimes a new mother can’t produce enough milk to feed a growing baby. Sometimes the mother is sick. Sometimes the baby has issues. Sometimes there’s an emergency. Thirty years ago our family had a situation that suddenly required an unusual kind of formula. In previous centuries prosperous families would have paid for a wet nurse, while poor ones would have had their children die. So we don’t know.
I have to point out that many years ago (during my mother’s era, half a century ago) some women thought breast feeding was icky. Today that attitude is rare. Most new mothers do try to breastfeed, though they may get discouraged and it may fade away in time.
Some people do not understand that infants are on a milk only diet until about aged 4 to 6-months. Then they are introduced to foods such as rice cereal, mashed bananas, etc. Their systems cannot process cows milk until about age one. Many mothers cannot nurse their babies for various reasons. It is important that babies receive certain minerals and vitamins during those first few months of life. Yes, you can make your own formula, but it is not a long-termed solution and you will need to give your child iron supplements as well. This is a very serious problem for young parents.
Buy a milk goat. I was raised on goats milk and growed up just fine.
Absolutely agree...
