Unless something changes in a very big hurry, some very major grief is going to ensue.

Putin using energy to hurt others is a case for energy independence from Soviet Russia.

Like how he broke Poland and Bulgaria?

Their attitude to being shut of from Russian gas was a shrug of indifference. Putin lost his chance. It’s warm weather now and by the fall Europe will have secured alternate supplies.

Europeans are morons, setting their societies up for colossal failure.

They destroyed their energy infrastructure for their idiotic “green” (lol) energy pipe-dreams,.which made them dependent on Russian energy.

Now the same globaloid morons are trying sancrion Russia to extract from the situation at the worst possible time.

It’s all self inflicted. The west is being led by incompetent, deluded fools, whose evil and stupidity will cause misery and death.on a massive scale.

Putin began Breaking ties with EU under Obamas administration - this is all a further continuance of that under Biden/Obama administration. They basically pushed Russia to China which when that was happening Obama quickly began his “Pivot to Asia” nonsense....which didn't work.

I recall distinctly when Obama was so arrogant about Putin and Russia he just kept pushing all of Putins buttons and Obama was warned to lay off by many. I watched as Putin went on his International tours in Asia, Middle East, China and throughout that area...with India etc. ......and I said then Putins on a role to develop “other” International Allies which is exactly what he did.

After Russia’s invasion of Crimea the USA and EU cut ties with Soviet Russia. Not the other way around.

>by the fall Europe will have secured alternate supplies.

Please provide details on how that will work.

I’ll wait patiently.

Except this war will be long over by the time they’ve even disconnected from Russia.....EU said not until 2029 at the earliest. So Putin will not have any issues supplying other countries other than Europe - in fact they’ve already lined up at his door. While the EU shudders fearing next winter.

Sorry, but that will take years, not months.

“It’s warm weather now and by the fall Europe will have secured alternate supplies.”

Too bad the large German manufacturers don’t agree with the Neocons.

You stated....”Putin using energy to hurt others is a case for energy independence from Soviet Russia”.......

That never happened until US stuck their nose into EU'S affairs. We all know that Victoria Nuland and others have their dibs on Ukraine and are warmongers......EU was handling Russia quite well until US Reps began strong-arming EU leaders....and even today they hate the Biden Administration for blackmailing them.

Interesting.

Seems that we live in interesting times, and it is getting most interesting in Europe and America.

But this is surely untrue, sanctions work and we see companies failing one after another....

Here is the latest one:

BECAUSE OF RUSSIA SANCTIONS Europe's largest condom manufacturer files for bankruptcy,

I'm sure that there is a mistake in the title, it should say "Russia's largest..." -- because sanctions work!
