The Death of Roe Will Bring Rebirth for the Culture of Life

The far-left’s hysterical reactions to Justice Samuel Alito's leaked draft opinion in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization indicate that its radical, woke agenda is crashing down. Violence has erupted as abortion activists rage over the potential demise of Roe v. Wade.

The leak of Justice Alito’s draft opinion, which overturns Roe, appears to be the handwriting on the wall. This may be an indication that America has rejected the destructive agenda of the abortion industry.

The apparent downfall of Roe opens the door for the rebirth of a culture of life. Central to achieving this goal is the ongoing work of pro-life pregnancy centers and medical clinics. The love, care and support that families receive from these life-affirming nonprofits will permanently transform our nation. For this, the pro-life movement should be encouraged and hopeful.

Alito’s opinion is only a draft and was written in February. As such, it is not necessarily the final ruling of the court. However, all information received to date indicates that this is an accurate reflection of where the majority of the Supreme Court is headed regarding the future of Roe. If this is true, then there is cause for great celebration for those who have labored to restore the sanctity of human life, born and unborn, as a core value of our nation.

It must be noted that the unprecedented leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s draft is the left’s blatant attempt to politicize the high court’s deliberations. NIFLA condemns such efforts in the strongest terms. This shameless endeavor to hijack the court’s process must not be allowed to stand.

Abortion advocates are desperate to hold on to their sacred rite of abortion, which is central to their culture of death-on-demand. This leak is a despicable intimidation tactic utilized by abortion activists. It is intended to destroy the public’s faith in the court. However, if this draft reflects the court’s ultimate ruling, we may soon celebrate a new dawn for the culture of life and a post-Roe America.

The details of Roe, which are unknown to most Americans, dehumanize the unborn by denying them constitutional personhood. In this way, it establishes legal justification for their extermination. In a bizarre statement, the Roe decision further proclaims that unborn human life can only be protected at the point of “viability.”

At this point, according to Roe, a child has the “capability of meaningful life outside the womb." Whether a life is deemed to be “meaningful” is the Roe standard as to whether it can be protected under the law. Such a metric clearly opens the door for the killing of those already born.

Since the advent of Roe, more than 63 million precious unborn children have been killed because their lives were not deemed to be “meaningful.” These non-persons, according to Roe, have less value under the law than a blade of grass, which can be protected through trespassing laws.

Enough is enough. There is a better way – the way of life. Our culture must do better to protect the most vulnerable members of the human family, the unborn.

The demise of Roe could allow a culture of life to be restored in America. This will happen when every city, town, county and state steps forward to rebuild their communities into life-affirming societies. A cultural shift toward the value of life will create a nation where all human life, born and unborn, is cherished, accepted and protected under the law. This cultural rebirth will be led by the life-changing work of the pregnancy center movement.

America’s growing network of approximately 3,000 life-affirming pregnancy centers will continue to expand resources, support, and life-affirming options for mothers and babies in need. As we move into what will likely be a post-Roe America, pregnancy centers will play a prominent role.

The death of Roe v. Wade means that an integral part of the far-left’s woke agenda is ending. It means that life-affirming values can be restored, but only if the American people respond in a committed and passionate manner to this daunting task. I believe that the goodness of our nation will be proven through the selfless work of the American people and pregnancy centers in communities nationwide.

Achieving an abortion-free America and a culture of life is not only a possibility – it may be just around the corner.

The exact opposite of the author’s Pollyanna prediction will happen. A wave of laws to loosen restrictions and bring abortion on demand through the last trimester. And non stop talk of abortion, further dividing the population and giving the Democrats an agenda item that finally has solid popular support. This is a disaster.

I agree. There wont be butterflies and bunnies and happy songs in green meadows. All the anger and hate will only intensify. The lefties will go DEFCON1. It’s no coincidence that Biden called MAGA movement extremists yesterday. It was the same time they were putting up barriers around the supreme court. It’s a deflection about how radical the left is about to start getting.

Where’s the money for the “Choose Life” commercials? Where’s the national adoption registry? We can put the damper on the leftists going crazy. Where are the pro life billionaires? They’ve got the good life and should want everyone to share in it. Starts by getting from zero to one. Think Az. senate candidate McMaster.

This is not the death of abortion. It simply puts it in control of the states where it belongs in the first place. Any item not listed in the 18 enumerated powers of Congress belongs to the states county, or local.

How about a concerted plan to hold the fathers responsible for supporting the child as well? Right now too may just beat feet and avoid responsibility.

I’m wondering how soon until calls for incarceration of any and all pro-life/conservative/MAGA people start being made by members of Congress or even the President? Don’t kid yourself into thinking that your lib neighbors aren’t secretly dreaming of seeing you getting perp-walked into a paddy wagon...or worse

Paternity should always be established by DNA testing.

The natural father is financially responsible for half the cost of upbringing, unless the responsibility is transferred by contract during adoption.

I disagree. If the economy was great, it might be. The only unhinged about this are far left. The non rabid abortion supporters will share a post on Facebook then move on.

Since the Covid and election it has been one crisis after another on the national level. In addition to local crime. High prices. Weather. Children behind in school.

This country is tired. But soon, another crisis.

Yes, you can hope the economy stays bad enough that the motivated Left don’t succeed, but that is a terrible long term strategy.

Non-rabid abortion supporters are the super majority. And they may not protest in the streets, but they’ll go back to voting straight D.

The only small minority are the people who want a total ban without exceptions. And they’re out celebrating thinking they’re on the road to victory. Far from it.

*How about a concerted plan to hold the fathers responsible for supporting the child as well?*

I dunno about that one. The father would then have visitation rights. Not good. I look at mugshots daily. There’s a lot of money to be transferred if illegal immigrant prisoners could be made to serve out their terms as free men back in their home country. Plenty of druggie non-violent types we’re paying for. Make the Mexico’s take them back.

Leftist policy is always bad for the economy. No "assumptions" or "hopes" required. They're Marxists who hate free enterprise.

Non-rabid abortion supporters are the super majority.

Assumes facts not in evidence, particularly if you're talking about the Roe / Bolton regime of abortion on demand through all nine months of pregnancy.

And they may not protest in the streets, but they’ll go back to voting straight D.

By definition, if they're "non-rabid," they'll consider other factors in deciding their vote.

The funny(strange/sad) thing is I don’t think AOC would get the joke of “row vs wade” if you told her.

You do realize the baby daddies fathering multiple children with multiple women have no legal income to attach. In fact their prime means of support is through the many women they knock up. Their education is non existent and their prospects of legal earnings is zero.

You could spend millions to collect bupkis.

This has been brought to you by the Democratic welfare state, fully supported and funded by Republicans.

Enjoy your unicorns.

I doubt Republicans have a strategy and are just as surprised by the ruling.

This is the only thing they have to run on and it’s not enough.

I am afraid you may be right, this is perhaps the ONLY thing that could motivate the Dems to relative Victory in November.

How many needless races will be lost because the Democrats have a real issue most Americans actually care about? This won’t help a single Republican but it will help the Democrats who were on the ropes just a few days ago.

The recent abortion laws in red states brought this on and will have devastating consequences nationwide that makes it harder to elect Republicans and will make abortion more available.

Single party rule is not good when its on the Left or Right.
