Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., expressed outrage over a video of Christians singing on a plane, leading many Republicans to attack her for what they suggested was anti-Christian bigotry.
Omar shared a video Saturday evening in which a worship leader with a guitar sings Christian worship music on an airplane.
"I think my family and I should have a prayer session next time I am on a plane," Omar, who is Muslim, wrote with the video. "How do you think it will end?"
Many Republican candidates responded, suggesting that Omar had expressed hatred or bigotry against Christians.
"Why do you hate Christians, Ilhan?" Vernon Jones asked. "If the freedom of religion we enjoy here in America disturbs you, feel free to pack your bags and head back to Somalia, Sudan, or wherever you’re from. Take your brother with you."
"In America, Muslims can & do pray in public," Jose Castillo, a Republican candidate for Congress in Florid, tweeted. "If she wants a country where Christians aren’t allowed to do the same [Omar] should go back to her own country."
"Qatar - a country you’re very familiar with - plays Islamic prayers on the intercom before takoff on their planes," Cicely Davis, a GOP candidate in tMinnesota, which Omar represents, tweeted "The issue is you hate Christians & Jews & lots of Muslims."
Royce White, another Minnesota candidate chimed in.
"I’m coming for your seat. Don’t disrespect Christianity! You’re a globalist fraud. The Democrats you serve don’t believe in God. Their platform is openly anti-God. Minneapolis will not become Mogadishu. We will not bend the knee."
Deadspin sportswriter Chuck Modi, shot back at the responses Omar received.

The Minneapolis City Council recently approved allowing mosques to broadcast their daily calls to prayer on outdoor loudspeakers. I’m sure more than a few Christians and Jews will be offended, but they don’t matter.
Just another example why Muslims should not be in America.
Not sure if I mean she's a Muslim or a Democrat. Both are now religions.
If Muslims or Hindus decided to vocally and loudly worship their god(s) on a flight that I was on, I would not appreciate it for the reason given earlier - you can't leave an airplane when it's in flight.
Of course she hates Christians. She is a Mohammedan. Their ideology tells them to kill everyone else.

You ask a muslim why she hates Christians? You have not been paying attention to what is going on in the world. All muslims are at odds with the Christians because if Christians are right in their belief, then muslims are not. That is it in a nutshell.
“No one should be forced to hear the Gospel.” I agree totally, particularly if it’s someone singing praise songs. I can’t even stand to hear them in church.
If I’d been on that plane, I would have climbed out the window. It would be as bad as being forced to hear rap music blaring out of someone’s car.
