COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting at a busy shopping mall in South Carolina’s capital on Saturday that left 14 people injured.
Columbia Police Chief W.H. “Skip” Holbrook said 22-year-old Jewayne M. Price, who was one of three people initially detained by law enforcement as a person of interest, remains in police custody and is expected to be charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol.
It is not immediately known if Price has an attorney who could speak on his behalf.

One of the main reasons that malls are closing all over the U.S. We, up here in Northwest Ohio, have had many, many malls (Euclid Mall, Richmond Mall, Randall Park, Parma, Severance Mall, and soon to be destroyed Great Lakes Mall) closed down because of these afro-punk “yoots” destroying the inside and outsides of our malls.
And it ain’t gonna’ stop!
Yeah, even in nice areas around me the outdoor shopping strips have totally replaced malls. I can’t think of any reason to visit a mall anymore. They’re dangerous, with tons of non-lethal incidents going on from that demographic that aren’t reported much.
Back in the day you used to have sbarro and the arcade. Now you might get a sideways gat in your face.

My Ladyfriend and I walk inside at the nearby, massive York Galleria Mall, on inclement days — otherwise outside at the nearby parks — and I always carry my Kimber 1911 .45cal ACP “Eclipse Target II”, with 230gr HP ammo, and 2 extra mags. Sad that it’s come to this, but I have CCW’d since getting robbed and shot in FL 7/14/75.
Wow, that’s a good find. Maybe they’ll give him $500 bail this time at least?
The 4th mass shooting this month is also headed for the “Woke Media’s” memory hole.

No, it happened close to the Gap store- which is one of the busiest sections of that mall. When it was first built, a local SC House member fought (successfully for a while) to keep public transport from this area. At one time, the Irmo area was upscale and nice. Then several years ago the city of Columbia destroyed a public housing development called Hendley Homes. The bleeding hearts of Irmo invited the ghetto trash into their town and schools and wouldn’t you know it, several years later the once great public schools have been destroyed and the area’s crime rate has skyrocketed.

Nothing has ever illustrated this better than the show “Bait Car.” Whenever they would leave one of the bait cars parked in a heavily black neighborhood, it took only seconds after the driver walked away for a horde of people to descend upon the car like a cloud of locusts, fighting over who was going to get to steal it. That show proved to me that a significant number of inner city blacks have such a deeply ingrained criminal nature that all they need to cause them to commit a crime is the opportunity.
