White Reporter Has Meltdown After Seeing Black People At Country Music Awards: 'It's Not Wakanda'

Awhite nationalist displayed a toddler-like tantrum on his conservative show because he didn’t want to see Black people at the Country Music Awards. Patrick Howley, the right-wing reporter, first proved his ignorance when he failed to recognize the host of the show, Anthony Mackie.

“I don’t know who this Black guy is who’s hosting it. It’s supposed to be country music,” the bitter white man said as he showed a clip of the award show to his viewers. “No offense. Y’all have hip hop, basketball. Just fly with your flock, bro.”.....

“There were so many Black people there,” he said. “Sorry to say, but so many Black celebrities who have nothing to do with country music and it’s like— why?”

In typical racist behavior, the talking head tried to prove that he likes some Black people.

“No disrespect to the funky brothers,” he said. “I love Earth Wind and Fire, Run DMC, etc. But country music’s different. Country music’s different. It’s not Wakanda.”

They and their counterpart neo-Nazis, La Raza, et al. can self-segregate to their heart’s content. The rest of melting pot/e pluribus unum America will continue on as one nation.

I don’t see a problem. Don’t see many whites at hip-hop awards either. Whites can have their own and so can blacks. Everything doesn’t have to be all black or mixed race.

“Whites can have their own and so can blacks.”

Except whites can’t; that would be racist.

“Everything doesn’t have to be all black or mixed race.”

Except that everything does; the blacks have made it so.

“But there have been quite a few celebs (black, white and otherwise) who have nothing to do with Country music at the CMAs for years. It’s kind of annoying.”

Nothing like having a black rapper entertain at a NASCAR race!

robably half the presenters were Black

I call this kind of over-compensation "blackity-black" when I see it on TV.

Blacks have been terribly over-represented in advertisements for a long time, but George Floyd BLM pushed into the crazy zone.

How about we treat black folks as people, and stop patronizing them ?

I’m thnkin’ they are there for the exposure - the CMA must have the ratings that the Grammy’s don’t.

Didn’t Charlie Pride do a duet with Bob Dylan?

I don't know. I only learned of him because my dad had his records in his collection. I used to listen to them.

Also, you could hear him on the radio back in those days. I remember hearing "burgers and fries" played on the radio and the juke box during one of my first jobs.

This. Keep it real. I've had a lot of black friends in my life and I think one of the things they liked about me was that I wasn't afraid of their blackness.

My philosophy has always been "God is no respecter of persons."

Nor should we be.

Works for me and most of my Black friends. It’s actually my lily white, colleges educated, suburban, liberal female relatives who seem to want to treat them like pets or animals on exhibit at the zoo.

And how about Ray Charles’ “I Can’t Stop Loving You”. A true classic.

Patrick Howley, the right-wing reporter...

His attitude is rejected by most of the so-called right wing.

The significant majority of blacks in America are financially secure and living stable middle class lives and have no interest in this kind of radicalism.

Now if only more of them would start VOTING that way! The RATs still have too many of them fooled.
