Does anyone have one of these electric cars? Does it really save you that much money considering your electricity goes up (not to mention people cant afford the cars)

There is no good economics in buying an electric car. This is especially so for the average wage earner who doesn't have lots of tax deductions and a personal accountant.
If a person owns a serviceable gas powered car, it's better to keep it in good repair than to buy a new one.

Give me a Federal Grant of $50,000, and I’ll buy an electric car tomorrow.
(Note: Electric cars are actually powered by coai, oil, or gas most of the time. It’s just burned someplace else, many miles away.)

CNBC discussed 'rented' electric vehicles (EV) today,
and said that manufacturers would charge $0.31 per mile usage fee,
as well as whatever electric recharge expense ($$) you may incur.
Now we know why electric utility companies set up those meters with timers
so that they could charge different prices for "Off Peak" pricing.

The cheapest Tesla you can buy right now is the Tesla Model 3. According to their website, you can order a new rear-wheel-drive base Model 3 for a price of $48,190 with destination before any incentives.Mar 15, 2022 I’ll just reach into my pants and whip that out. Hahahahahabahah

Trying to figure out how do I save $80 a month by buying an electric car. I do not have any car payments now.
Tesla Model 3 starts out at $46K. If I put 10K down and finance the car loan of 36K at 2.29% for 60 months, my car payments would be $635.57. Not much of a savings.
Biden is very disconnected from the average American. Who is going to take on another debt when they could be unemployed in a year?
It was Joe’s policies that created this mess. Time to buckle up and prepare for tough times.

First, you have to have the 40 Grand to pay for the electric car. Seeing as you’re saving $80 a month,it will only take you almost 42 years to break even.
