Cotton, Rubio Among Those Planning to Boycott Joe Biden’s State of the Union
Breitbart ^ | 02/22/2022 | Ashley Oliver

Posted on 02/22/2022 3:50:26 PM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said Tuesday he does not plan to attend President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address, happening in one week, because of extraordinarily strict coronavirus measures in place for the event.

Cotton is one of at least a few Republicans who have so far expressed intentions to skip the annual joint session address, which takes place in the House chamber. Spokesman James Arnold told Breitbart News, “Nancy Pelosi’s COVID theatrics are a joke and Senator Cotton will not be attending.”

Amnesty Senator Rubio is a fraud.

He voted to give the Democrats a permanent majority with amnesty for illegal aliens.
Any Republican that votes to abandon the rule of law needs to be cashiered.

Are the people of Florida as stupid as the people of South Carolina, who have given Flimsey Grahamnesty TWO more terms after THREE amnesty votes?

I’ll probably play Ronald Reagan’s “A time for choosing” when it’s time for Joe to speak.

I think the entire Senate GOP should be riding shotgun in the cab of Trucks in a convoy to D.C. (from their respective home states)

And that should include Mitch. Why give the dems even a faint impression of bipartisanship after what they have done?

They are paid to sit there. Sit there and then make criticisms afterwards.

The GOP members of Congress hate those truckers the same way Trudeau hates them in Canada

If the GOP wanted to do anything, all of them would be outside the DC jail demanding that the people in there from Jan06, be given a chance to make bond and go home to their families.

Two sides of the same coin.

You are correct.
Scott (SC) is up this time and should be replaced, but SC just re-elected Grahamnesty last cycle, so it won’t happen.

This cycle the only Senators worthy of re-election are Johnson, Kennedy and Paul, although Paul recently signed a letter advocating for more foreign workers, which is a really bad sign......

They are paid to represent the people of their respective states.

If those people want them to boycott the SOTU, then they boycott.

They should go, and just take turns tearing up copies of SloJo’s speech while he’s giving it. That’ll make the old fart pop a cork right in front of the cameras.

Yes.

And while neither Graham nor any of them can be recalled, if the people were serious, they could force him out. They could apply so much pressure on him, if they chose to, that he’d either submit to them, completely ignore them which could/should force the SC legislature to do something.

That mans ego is too fragile to be dragged through the mud. He’d have a nervous breakdown
