Oil prices surged nearly 5% and stock prices dropped Tuesday after Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the independence of rebel-held regions of Ukraine, raising fears that a full-scale invasion was near.

Oil prices had already risen to their highest level since 2014. By early Tuesday, the advance of U.S. benchmark crude oil had abated slightly. It was up about $3, or 3.5%, to about $94 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The price of Brent crude, the standard for international oils, gained about $4.50, or nearly 5%, to hit about $98 per barrel.

Stock markets haven’t dropped enough. This country needs and deserves some serious financial help. Crater the damn economy. I don’t care anymore. I’ve run out of patience and compassion for Americans in general.

That’s why I drive a 2016 Scion iM (Toyota Corolla iM in 2017 and 2018 model years). Pretty reliable, and on the freeway I’ve seen 40 mpg at 65 mph. It might even spur Honda to bring over the Honda Fit to the US market again, too.

So far the Russians have been very clever. They are occupying the territory they want with their “peacekeepers” so far without death and destruction. They have declared the provinces “independent”. Now if there is to be combat, it will be up to the Ukrainians to attack and go on the offensive against these Russian “peacekeepers”. Very much doubt the Ukrainians can defeat the combined arms of the Russians and retake their territory. It would appear the Russians are achieving their objectives without much if any fighting.

The massive gas increases will reverberate throughout the economy.

Think groceries are expensive now? Wait until transpo costs double, then triple.

You wanted this lefties. Enjoy your poverty.

Things aren’t going wrong to the Dims. They’ve openly stated for years how much they want to drive up energy prices as a kind of penance to their gaia cult ... all while claiming they hate Big Oil that they’re enriching.

Actually, it just started and we’ve a long way to go, and a lot of money to lose, yet.

“Things aren’t going wrong to the Dims.”

I would agree that is the case when you consider the politicians, celebrities, the media, and the true believers. That covers about 35% of the population. Let oil go to $150 a barrel and many of the inattentive sheep in America will take notice, and not be pleased with the Dems.

I sure wish we had a REAL president like President Trump in the White House with all of these crises going on. Jo Jo and Camela are just too stupid to handle these messes.

“I will not pretend this will be painless, there could be impact on our energy prices.”

“If Russia decides to invade, that would also have consequences here at home. But the American people understand that defending democracy and liberty is never without cost”

See Biden said we need to just deal with paying a few bucks more per gallon the protect the country that’s paying his son millions.

The energy crisis is Biden’s fault.

There are super simple steps to make it better:

Stop messing with domestic production.

Stop messing with international distribution.

“The energy crisis is Biden’s fault.”

Actually, the Deep State controlling the Biden puppet strings. But the “crisis” is not exactly that. This is an INTENTIONAL and MALICIOUS action to remove energy from the masses in conjunction with all the other actions (Covid, election fraud) en route to slaughtering 100% of American patriots (mostly Trump voters), to their full goal of slaughtering 90% of the planet for the Great Reset.

"Let oil go to $150 a barrel and many of the inattentive sheep in America will take notice, and not be pleased with the Dems."

Maybe a few Dims will see the light. But I'm afraid many of them will fall for the lies that it's somehow Trump's fault, or their own fault for being white, or it's Big Oil's fault, or "evil speculators" (Bush said that one after oil shot up right after a hurricane hit Louisiana).
