Republican Sen. Mike Rounds rejected claims of mass voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

"The election was fair — as fair as we've seen," he said during an interview on ABC's "This Week."

Rounds said that the GOP must "refocus" on a winning strategy to win the back the White House.

Sen. Mike Rounds on Sunday rejected former President Donald Trump's debunked election claims, expressing confidence that the 2020 election was "as fair as we've seen."

The South Dakota Republican — who was easily reelected to a second term in the Senate in 2020 — said during an interview on ABC's "This Week" that the dozens of investigations focused on election irregularities did not yield any cases of mass fraud.

IT’s hard to have any support for the Republican Party, when many of their leaders are perpetual losers.

Obviously he and is cohort in the Senate John Thune are on the same page. It’s just that he is not on the ballot, and John Thune is waiting, waiting, waiting, to declare or retire. I think he knows the populace, or at least many of them are not pleased with the rhetoric or his voting record.

If John chooses to retire, the wimp Congressman Dusty Johnson would be the likely one to attempt a six year extension to his wimpness.

As bad as some of the R’s are, the R party is still far and away the better choice for voters. Point being, we the people have to start primarying the scumbags like Rounds.

If the Senator has tunnel vision regarding all the docs on the 2020 election, he must be primaried out or just plain defeated. This clown is a real rhino.

As fair as we’ve seen just isn’t true. Democrat governors unilaterally changed election laws to allow ridiculously unfair methods like mail voting and vote harvesting.
Democrats are trying to nationalize those methods to take over the country. So for him to say such methods are fair is just ignorant and cowardly.

You’re partially correct, where have the R’s been on the border ?? They talk a good game but have done nothing, same goes for immigration in general.

The two biggest issues we face in this country are faith in the election system and the unequal application of justice. If we can trust the elections are to a high degree accurate and honest then we have no country and right now we can’t say elections are across the country are fair and accurate.

The same goes for the justice system, we have one system for the average American and one for the political class, people like the Clinton’s can openly steal money and cavort with pedophiles but nothing happens to them but average Americans who walked thru the capital on 1/6 are stuck in prison without charges and trial dates.

IMO, the D’s and R’s to a large degree are the same party the only difference is how fast they want to make changes that will destroy the country.

"The election was fair — as fair as we've seen"

What he's actually saying is that all elections are rigged.

Rounds said that the GOP must "refocus" on a winning strategy to win the back the White House.

To him, a "winning strategy" is to never nominate Trump or anyone like him. This strategy has been proven over and over, with the re-election of GHW Bush, the hair-thin victory of GWB, and the victories of president McCain and president Romney.

I think you paint with too broad a brush when you speak of the R Party. The only time anything good gets done legislatively etc... is when the R’s control the Presidency, Senate & House. The point is one must look at each pol individually, the biggest problem for the R’s in the House & Senate can be reduced to about 10 members, meaning both sets of chamber leadership especially McConnell and McCarthy. One has to remember, the problem R children are not movement R’s, they’re status quo pols and these problems will, hopefully, be resolved in the upcoming election cycles as President Trumps people continue to take over the R party. These are not problems that are going to be solved overnight, the communist democrats under the guise of progressivism have been transforming our country for over 100 years, most Americans have only recently (in the last few years) realized what the D’s have been doing to America and they’re now waking up and in so doing it is becoming apparent to the vast majority of the R base, Independents and some still non commie D’s and now that their secret is out of the bag and they continue to speak the quiet part out loud; that they’re trying to create a communist America under perpetual D rule where their political enemies will be eliminated much like the Jews of Europe in the 30’s and 40’s (that’s not hyperbole, one need only listen to The Squad, they’re not subtle about it at all).

Because the electorate is finally waking up to the threat the D party represents, this is going to effect how the R base votes, slowly but surely the establishment status quo R’s are being replaced and that trend is only going to increase as the R base starts electing MAGA Movement R’s at all levels from dog catcher to school boards to local and state and national office holders.

Be patient, the R base is now only beginning to respond to the 100 year assault on our country, we are now at the phase where the R base must elect the proper kinds of candidates to take the fight to the enemy and this process will take some time. America and the Constitution is not going to lose this fight, we’re starting to beat the communist D’s politically, just listen to the rhetoric, one can hear the desperation dripping from their lips everytime they speak, we’re just now starting to turn the tide electorally. Of course if the communist D’s want to go beyond politics and fight and armed civil war, then I pity them, but the most important thing if that ever happens is that they are the side that starts it, which they’re on the way to doing if the recent riots, which were totally inspired by the communist elements which now dominate the D party. I truely pity them if they go that route because if they do, well, lets just say the Swcond American Civil War will be a war of total anihilation for the losing side which will be the communists, there is no way they’ll beat Americans fighting for their Freedom. Period. But we’re not there yet and it is totally dependent upon how far the communist D’s want to take it. I very much doubt they’ll give up at politics when we totally defeat them in that arena, they cannot accept their losses.

I wished I shared your optimism, even if we elect solid R’s all to often they betray us after succumbing to the money that comes their way in Washington.

Think back to the enthusiasm a lot of us had when Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were elected Senators, both have sold out and are now establishment Republicans, I have never forgiven Rubio whose first task as a Senator was to get behind amnesty.

Ted Cruz looked like a fool after calling 1/6 protestors Dangerous terrorist and being confronted by Tucker Carlson.

I would love to see the R’s in SD denounce Mike Rounds and end his career in politics....

I might start having more confidence in R’s if they send Liz Cheney and Lisa Murkowski packing this fall.

Good post.

At the local level, City & County, the difference between Republicans & Democrats is very pronounced.

If you like critical race theory, equity in education,an advocate for abolishing the electoral college, making cities into states, destroying the 2nd Amendment, taxing producers, directing public funds into liberal non profits, you most likely are a “democrat/wokecrat.”

Your local County Republican Party most likely opposes this organized stupidity.

"as fair as we've seen,"

1. Election fraud in cities like Chicago is legendary.

2. There is always election fraud.

3. If they want taxpayers to believe that there wasn't enough fraud to sway the election (despite the opportunity for more fraud in any election, ever), they would need to demonstrate it, not deny its existence and not hide the evidence.

I know its cliche but your missing the forrest for the trees, you’re making good progress the enemy of perfection.

Come on man, in every kind of conflict your side wins some battles and loses some battles. One must focus on the big picture and you seem not to be doing that, I think you’re seeing this to emotionally and not analytically enough. I have the same problem at times. Having said that, one must also at time compartmentalize ones emotionalism and just look at facts and history to make a sound judgement as to where we are in this present conflict with communism. And that’s what I attempted to do in my last post. You say you don’t share my optimism; but my analysis was not based upon the emotional response of optimism, my analysis and interpretation of the facts is based upon a cold hearted, unemotional analysis of them and of the history of similiar conflicts. I’m certain it is not perfect, but I think the basic tenents are absolutely true based upon the facts at this time in history.

This is from Ray Epps..... oops, I meant RBW in PA, ignorantly suggesting its time to use violence in the US:

“CWII should go hot today”

FED! FED! FED! FED!

You’re a nut case for suggesting any such thing.
In fact you’re likely an FBI/FED agent provocateur.
Again, anyone suggesting at thist point that its time for violence is a complete moron.
Crawl back under the rock from whence you came.
