SACRAMENTO — Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) had a short message for his members on Monday, the first day of California’s 2022 legislative session: “Let’s get to work.” Three days later, Rendon and several other legislators are now in quarantine and will miss floor sessions both in the Senate and Assembly until next week after attending another member’s going-away party the night before a state senator in attendance tested positive for COVID-19. Twenty-seven Assembly members were absent on Thursday, though some had not attended the party and were already approved to miss the floor session. The Senate did not immediately provide attendance records.
Several legislators attended a farewell event Tuesday night for former Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez (D-San Diego) at a downtown Sacramento hotel. Legislative sources who asked not to be identified told The Times that at least a dozen lawmakers were on hand for the celebration. Gonzalez resigned from the Assembly on Wednesday to take a job with the California Labor Federation. She is expected to be chosen as the labor group’s leader this summer.
The morning after the party, state Sen. Josh Becker (D-Menlo Park) announced that he had tested positive for the virus. It’s unclear what safety protocols were in place at the event, but Becker said he is fully vaccinated and boosted and was wearing an N95 mask while at the party. He said he had tested negative for several days before Wednesday’s positive result.

Why are we bothering with these so-called vaccines? They demonstrably do not work. Let me repeat that for the slow lib lurkers out there - the covid "vaccines" do not work.
If they worked, you wouldn't need a mask, wouldn't need to social distance, wouldn't be worried about contracting covid.
When was the last time you worried about getting Measles? Mumps? Rubella? Polio? Those are effective vaccines.
When you need a booster every 4 to 6 months. When you have to be concerned about a variant if your last jab was more than a mere 60 days ago... That is not an effective, practical preventative treatment. It is a cash cow for pharmaceutical companies and a boon to wanna-be fascists who like to make up the rules as they go along.
There seems to be a rash of multi-vaxxed, mask wearing dems getting covid.

Oh, I’m sure he wore an N95 mask the whole time at the party. Yep, after all, why wouldn’t he?
One party with a N95 allegedly tests positive less than 24 hours of exposure, but an older person with comorbidities with an identical N95 doesn’t? Maybe Becker was infected before he donned that mask for the party?

Reardon, who has tested negative “.. instructed anyone who attended the Tuesday party to stay home rather than attend the session... State health guidelines don’t require people who are vaccinated and boosted to isolate following possible exposure, but Rendon made the request out of caution...
They forgot to touch their noses and spin 3 times each morning, chanting “Oh go covid, oh go!”

I had one of my follow up appointments with my cardiologist after being hospitalized with Covid last year - he was pretty pissed that I havent been vaccinated yet and tried to engage him in a conversation on it. When I told him I still have anti-bodies as well as T cell immunity, he said "that's fine but we still don't know how long either will protect you, especially against Omicron." So I then said "well, if we don't know how long anti-bodies and T cells protect you, then how do we know how long the shots will protect us, if at all."
At this point he got red faced and visibly annoyed and (surprisingly) said "we don't, which is why I think these shots will be as common as a flu shot." I then said you're probably correct but we don't go around wearing masks and shutting down schools and businesses over the flu.
At this point he told me to "just get the shot if you know whats good for you" said goodbye and left the room.
I'll be looking for a new cardiologist....
It’s the test, not the virus. Masks, vaccines, and social distancing cannot prevent that useless test from going positive when nobody is sick.
Interestingly, my brother sees a cardiologist twice a year, at a minimum, gets blood taken once a month as he’s on blood thinners, and says no one has even mentioned the “vaccine.” Weird, huh? I will note he’s on some kind of state sponsored free medical. Maybe they know it might mess you up and cost the state even more money while others with great insurance don’t have that problem. Comments welcome.
I suspect people are getting addicted to them. Like needing their next fix. No other reason why anyone would get boosters
There may be a little sheer laziness. Or maybe path of least resistance. If people just do what they are told - get vaccinated, get boosters, wear a mask, social distance... They don’t have to think, they don’t have to take responsibility. “Hey, I’m following instructions to keep me and everyone around me safe!” Then they can’t be blamed if they or someone around them gets sick. “Hey I followed all the precautions, I’m a victim here!” They are being conditioned to obey without question, without pushing back.
So..................the thrice vaccinated are the lepers ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Fire them all
