Did they not argue that at her trial? If not, why not?
They did but I believe it was an Oh By the way even though it was a mistake it was ok anyway.
They never should have focused as mistake being the biggest part of the defense. Instead, they should have made lethal force as the number 1 defense. And the mistake being irrelevant because lethal force was allowed.
The fact that she meant to grab a taser was just a nicety she was offering the perp instead of ending his life. But instead she grabbed her gun which she had every right to do. And good thing she did because she saved her fellow cops life. And there are many times where the taser doesn’t work. So her so called mistake actually saved a life.
