Polling Shows Kent, Hageman, Collins, Sabatini and Allen Leading the Emerging National Narrative; Beutler, Cheney, and Price in Serious Trouble

Diverse Sample Shows the Power of President Trump's Endorsement Nationwide

Today the Las Vegas polling firm SoCo Strategies announced the results of a multi-state poll, focused on a diverse sampling to look for current trends in the Republican primary landscape. The results demonstrate two emerging narratives.

Our polling showed that President Trump is a dominant force in Congressional Primaries across the country. Trump endorsed candidates Joe Kent and Harriet Hageman lead their anti-Trump incumbent opponents and Pro-Trump candidates Mike Collins and Anthony Sabatini lead their open primaries by double digits while another Pro-Trump candidate, Graham Allen, was tied in South Carolina with the incumbent.

Washington CD3 – Kent 40.92%, Beutler 29.16%, St. John 6.91%

Wyoming At Large – Hageman 38.64%, Cheney 18.80%

Georgia CD10 – Collins 25.59%, Broun 10.39%, Barr 8.10%, Curry 4.82%, McMain 3.52%

Florida CD7 – Sabatini 12.63%, Mills 3.90%, Benfield 3.59%

South Carolina CD7 – Rice 19.18%, Allen 18.54%, Fry 8.67%, Richardson 5.36%, Arthur 4.04%

"We selected diverse locations to see if the results would be consistent. The results demonstrate that regardless of geographic campaign, current sentiment is the same," says Zack Moyle, CEO of SoCo Strategies. "An endorsement from President Trump is almost paramount. Voters support President Trump, and anti-Trump candidates are not faring well."

Being the anti-Trump candidate has left Jaime Herrera Beutler, Liz Cheney and Tom Rice little chance of winning their primaries. Cheney and Herrera Beutler's challengers lead them by double and Tom Rice polls below 20% on the ballot test. Earlier this year anti-Trump candidate Rep. Anthony Gonzales decide to not seek re-election because of no path to victory in Ohio.

Cheney is 20 points behind.

She’s pretty much toast.

Has me wondering, Megan? Nope, Marc McCain. No relation to the scum McCains as far as I can tell.

Being the anti-Trump candidate has left Jaime Herrera Beutler, Liz Cheney and Tom Rice little chance of winning their primaries.

They are anti-American, that's the primary reason they are unpopular.

Very pleased to see Kent beating Herrera Beutler in Washington state’s 3rd congressional district.

Thanks for posting.

While I don’t live in the area, it will be nice knowing that Tom Rice stands a wonderful chance in getting sent home. Now, if SC could get even smarter and get rid of Mace, Graham and Scott, to be replaced with actual Conservatives, that would be even better.

That's right. Marc is son of the Rifleman, Lucas McCain.

We could use a good Rifleman in politics these days — level-headed (most of the time), and fiercely protective of good old American values.

I'm surprised to see such a fall for Cheney. Pleasantly surprised, of course.

And Rice is below 20%! Cheney is doing worse than her national (democrat) constituency want.

Now, about those GA races for Gov, Senator, and Sec of State? Will Ratsenburger even try to get re-elected?

Perdue - loser to perennial democrat candidate Ossoff in 2020’s contaminated double runoff for the US Senate - has stated he is running again. Seems like he is “Atlanta’s-powers-that-be” choice over Trump’s encouragement/endorsement of Walker for the 2022 campaigns.

Trump allies are angling for election jobs up and down the ballot; could have consequences in 2024

(CNN) As former President Donald Trump prepares for a potential comeback bid in 2024, his allies are flocking to election jobs all the way down to the local level in key battleground states, raising new concerns that the election officials who blocked Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election won’t be there the next time around.

Trump himself has endorsed candidates for secretary of state and attorney general — statewide races that play a crucial role in administering elections — who have spread his lies about 2020. But in addition to statewide roles, Trump’s acolytes are pursuing local election posts, even trickling down to the precinct level, and seeking to gain more prominent roles in state GOP parties and state legislatures ahead of the 2024 presidential campaign.

In Michigan, for instance, several new Republican appointees to county canvassing boards who have said they wouldn’t have certified the 2020 election are replacing the GOP members who did certify the election result. One appointee in Macomb County urged Trump after the election to invoke the Insurrection Act and suspend the Electoral College meeting to set up military tribunals to investigate claims of election fraud.

Michigan is a microcosm of a broader, nationwide strategy being carried out by Trump allies like Steve Bannon, who has advocated for Trump’s backers to infiltrate local Republican Party positions as well as election posts.

“We’re taking over the Republican Party through the precinct committee strategy. We’re taking over all the elections,” Bannon said on an episode of his “War Room” podcast last month
