THE FATHER NEVER SOLD HIM THE GUN!!!

Rant in all caps as you wish, but I’m merely stating what the prosecution will use to justify their charges. There are texts between the parents and the child, as well as statements in other forms from both that indicate plainly that the gun was purchased for him. One of the text exchanges even had him searching online at school for ammunition for the gun — which sent him to the office in the first place — with his father telling him to “not get caught” next time.

But if you feel otherwise, good luck using that position to keep your butt out of jail in similar situations…

ok...when do the school teachers get charged for involuntary manslaughter, they could have stopped it.....when does the sheriff get charged for involuntary manslaughter...they could have stopped it....youre letting your emotions get the best of you....you start prosecuting people for what they didnt do..to make “examples” of people....good luck with that.

Not in the least. I’m going off a rational thought process that includes the family sharing their lives all over social media. I’m an avid gun owner and probably have many times over the amount of firearms training, marksmanship and safety than a vast majority. Thus far there’s overwhelming evidence of irresponsible parents and gun owners. How can you miss it? They’ve made it public. You have your opinion and I have mine. You may choose to stand on this hill to prop up irresponsible gun owners to defend the 2nd amendment but not me. There’s thousands of other examples to score political points. This is not the case with these folks.

According to reports (again only reports) the parents were called and they refused to take the child home. On one hand we want the state (teachers) out of our children’s upbringing and then in the same breath we want them to be parents for unruly, unbalanced children. Which is it? We cannot have it both ways.

“...the schools wont expel these punks anymore...the parents refuse to admit their kids are fked up..”

If what I’ve read is true, the school tried to get the parents to pull their kid after they found some crazy notes he’d made. The parents refused. Nowadays schools are constrained when it comes to things like suspension/expulsion.

The killer was found to be checking out ammo on his phone during class and there were very dark notes found, but no specific threats being made. The school likely couldn’t suspend him for those, that’s why the asked the parents to come in.

No, buying a pistol for your 15 year old son for Christmas is how they are complicit which was obvious when the mother wished for her son to hide his ammunition browsing for HIS GUN from further school inquiries.

“They ran, and rightly so,”

When your son is arrested, you don’t run and leave him on his own in the jail cell.

now how do you know that they didnt say “ its your gun..when you turn 18”....look, the weapon is in the fathers name...it was taken from the fathers dresser....and now the defense lawyer is saying the gun was locked. Cant believe you people are falling for the gun grabbing prosecuters narrative..anyway, these charges will be tossed down the road...as they should be...

A tacital retreat is an appropriate strategy when outnumbered.

How do I know? It’s kind of hard to use that defense when the mother has already been caught telling her kid to hide his searching activities of ammo for HIS gun from school authorities. This IS NOT a 2nd Amendment battle. This is about parents buying a handgun for a 15 year old child (a felony) and then abdicating their responsibilities as parents when called by the school that their kid was drawing pictures of violence.

Sure, let’s just prop these parent right on up that 2nd amendment flagpole as the virtue of responsible gun owners. We’re making the media’s job so easy when we openly defend such blatant irresponsibility.

Sorry but as I’ve shared with you before I’ve received far more fun training than the vast majority of people and am a firearms expert. Your attempts malign me based on emotion vs what are known facts at present doesn’t change the facts that the parents at present are 100% culpable.

No, I’m going off Social media posts of the family themselves and what’s been reported thus far from school officials, police reports, the actions of the parents calling AFTER the shooting to report the gun missing and then their grand get away….If it walks like a duck…..
