NEW YORK (AP) — Chris Christie is everywhere.
The former New Jersey governor and onetime Republican presidential candidate denounced “conspiracy theorists” during a September appearance at the Ronald Reagan Library in California. He followed up with a speech this month to influential Republicans in Las Vegas, warning that the party will only succeed if it offers a “plan for tomorrow, not a grievance about yesterday.”
In between, he’s been interviewed by everyone from Laura Ingraham on Fox News to David Axelrod, a former adviser to President Barack Obama, on CNN.
On its face, Christie’s publicity campaign is in service of “Republican Rescue,” his new book that offers a simple prescription for his party: stop talking nonsense about 2020 and focus on the future — or keep losing elections. But the frenzied pace of his appearances and the increasingly obvious jabs at Donald Trump suggest Christie is plotting a political comeback with the 2024 campaign in mind.

I keep thinking of that overhead photo showing Chris sitting all spread out in his beach chair. Not the most flattering pose. He does not get embarrassed, though. Never.
Most professional politicians are that way.
“Shame” is an unproductive emotion, best kept on the back burners.
I wonder how big of a carbon footprint it takes for his plane to take off...
He know’s he’s finished in R politics that the party’s base is now solidly MAGA and they’re going to clear out the last remaining RINO’s like him in the next few election cycles. What he really wants and cares about more than anything else is to stay on the political grifter gravy train; former RINO elected officials and and failed RINO candidates whom are willing to continue to act as Assistant Democrats and repeat the messages the D ministry of propaganda - (otherwise known as the mainstream media) - tells them to say, can continue to make big money and chris christie has to put a lot of food on the table so I think it safe to say his only real concern is making more money, he’s a political whore pimping himself out to the D political grifter propaganda machine.
This is at least the 3rd planter story about Christie. Obviously it is an orchestrated campaign. He knows he can’t win. But some politicians run campaigns knowing they can’t win only because it provides a “legal” mechanism to extract campaign donations. Donations which they they use to pay off their favored friends and family as “campaign consultants”.
