This is foolish and political theater. Kyle killed people and has PTSD because of it. I’m sure the kid has issues because of what he had to do. No, he didn’t have a choice but it’s still a trauma for a kid to kill someone. This isn’t something to celebrate, it’s a tragedy, one that will always be with him. Using this for political brownie points is callous.

I agree. It hasn’t even been a week since his acquittal, I’ve seen multiple people saying “he should go to DC, and work for (I believe) Jim Jordan” or some people saying he should run for office. He’s an 18 year old kid who’s just been through probably worse in the past year than the the overwhelming majority of people will see over their entire life. Kyle said in Tucker’s Carlson’s interview that he wanted to go into nursing. Let this kid alone for a bit, let him breathe, let him get his bearings, let him try to heal. Let this kid forge his own path.
