No I think WI is a full cash bond only state. That’s why Kyle had to raise $2 million.
Possible/probable self defense with two dead, one injured = $2mil.
Run down 50+ people with a vehicle killing 6 so far, $5mil.
It was 5 people until this afternoon when an 8 year old died. Maybe the judge used Kyle’s case as an example, $1mil per person?
Circumstances quite different though.

I understand in Wisconsin it is full bail, no bail bonds. The full amount has to be paid in cash.

Why set a bail at all? So they can make it really high to get rid of having to ever acknowledge the issue of the ridiculously low bail he was already out on. It will never be mentioned again, only the $5M.
