Both sides have rested their case and they proceed to try to convince the jury that their client is either guilty as charged (including lesser offenses) or Not Guilty by reason of self-defense.
So far, my favorite line from the trial came from the prosecution:
ADA Binger: "Mr. Rittenhouse, you play Call of Duty, right? Isn't the goal of that game to kill everyone in sight?"
KYLE: "Well, yea, but it is a game . . . it isn't reality."
I also never told you to ‘go watch a soap opera’.
You need to be more careful, and address your complaints to the person(s) who actually hurled the insults - or to ‘All’.
I haven’t said a single insulting thing to you.
Please quote me where I said, in any fashion, that KR should have not use force to protect himself?

I hope the Defense is on their game today. Lot’s of low hanging fruit. For instance, the repeated railing on Kyle’s “EMT” claim. IMO, Binger stressed that too much and it’s an opening to stress Kyle’s training in the Antioch Fire Dept Junior EMT Cadet Program, Antioch Police Cadet Program, and his job as a Lifeguard in Kenosha. Clearly, Kyle had significant training. Hell, I’m certainly no EMT, but I’ve had training in basic and advanced first aid including basic life support, bleeding, tourniquets, dressings and bandages, burns, spinal support, splints, etc. I’ll bet Kyle has had all of that and more. And the provoking argument based on a couple fuzzy video frames should be easy to destroy.
The more I see of either side of our “justice system”, the more I think we just need to burn it all down.
Anyone got a clue what an AR-14 is? Richards finally has some fire, but he’s gotta watch the maliprops...
He’s certainly more interesting to listen to than Binger.

Grown-ups talking now. Richards is almost too p.o.’d to carry on, but I think he started strong.

Fact is, the rioters were attempting exactly what defense just said, "mob justice."
I’m glad. I hate it when a child shows up and tries to make the thread all of a sudden to be all about themselves. I feel bad for the attention-seeking person.
