A New National HIV Strategy Is Coming. What Might It Include?

Come World AIDS Day, December 1, 2021, the United States is expected to have a new National HIV/AIDS Strategy—and an opportunity to show people living with or affected by HIV that the government understands that ending the HIV epidemic is about more than just testing and pills.

My short thesis that I've developed, linking AIDS to homosexuality.

HIV is a queer-centric disease.

- Men who contract it mainly contract if from other men sexually.
- Women mainly contract it sexually from men who have sex with men (MSM).
- Men and women may contract it from IV drug use, but the background environment behind the drug use vector is male homosexual conduct.
- Children contract it from mothers who contract it from MSM, or from direct sexual assault by these men.
- Transmission by blood transfusion is now rare, but the existing instances were mainly caused by transfusions of blood from MSM.

All other causes are rare outliers.

The receptive partner, whether homosexual or the woman, is at a prime risk of infection. So men rarely contract it by normal vaginal sex with a woman. This makes the infection vector effectively one directional. A woman who contracts HIV basically becomes a dead end for transmission (absent any shared IV drug use.) Homosexual men engage in a variety of traumatic sexual practices, putting both partners in such a relationship at high risk of infection. This risk is broadcast geometrically to homosexual networks of both partners, there being no "dead end" members of the group. Lesbians are at low risk because there is typically no "insertive" partner involved in the way there is with male/male relationships. Not surprisingly, active lesbians are not prohibited from donating blood, absent any other disqualifying behavior.

Again, you can trace just about every HIV infection back to an instance of homosexual conduct, probably by no more than three degrees of separation.

Young gay and bisexual men accounted for 83% (6,385) of all new HIV diagnoses in people aged 13 to 24 in 2019, and 81% of diagnoses overall of HIV infection among Adolescents and Young Adults, and 92% of HIV infections among men aged 13 to 24 was attributed to male-to-male sexual contact:

In 2019, heterosexual men accounted for 7% of HIV diagnoses, and heterosexual women accounted for 16% of HIV diagnoses.

The largest percentage of HIV infections was attributed to male-to-male sexual contact (66% overall and 81% among males).
Overall there were 36.801 new HIV diagnoses in the United States and Dependent Areas 2019 among both men and women, with 23% being among heterosexuals:

 

Also according to the CDC (chart), in 2017  male to male sexual contact was the mode of transmission in 92% of new HIV cases among male youth aged 13 to 24, and  MSM  accounted for 81% of diagnoses among males  and 70%  of all new HIV diagnoses, and 2 out of every 3 diagnoses in the United States.  Which is despite only representing approximately 4% of the male population). 

And which practice (historically)  has resulted in a greatly increased incidence of other infectious diseases   and premature death.  (Even when their disease is well controlled, people with HIV can develop aging-related conditions such as cardiovascular disease, certain cancers, kidney and liver disease, osteoporosis, and cognitive impairment decades ahead of their HIV-negative counterparts, and their life expectancy is significantly reduced.) And which practice is primarily responsible for more than 700,000 people with AIDS having died (as of 2017 since 1981) in the USA since the beginning of the epidemic  - despite decades of attempting to tame it into being "safe."  (Worldwide, 77.3 million people have contracted HIV and 35.4 million have died of AIDS-related illnesses since the beginning of the pandemic in 1981 (https://health.usnews.com/conditions/hiv-aids/articles/hiv-statistics) 

 

As clearly taught in the Bible, God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) - and only condemned homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with.
