Since humans were the only species vulnerable to smallpox (unlike the flu and covid which have animal reservoirs), allegedly the only samples of smallpox which exist are in the CDC and similar lab in Russia. However, I allow for the possibility that Fauci paid China to experiment with it too. For it to reinfect the population, it will either have to escape from the labs or be genetically engineered and released. If it is the second, you can bet the designer will have created the vaccine for his own country and made sure the old vaccines don't work.
