A cadre of moderate House Republicans saved President Biden’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure deal from defeat on Friday after far-left Democrats rebelled against the legislation.
13 House Republicans, including never-Trump acolytes like Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, joined with 215 Democrats to narrowly pass the bill. Given the narrow margin that Democrats control the House, Mr. Biden could only afford three defections.

The Senate passed a $1.2 trillion bill with bipartisan support.
The House was going for the bigger spending bill but could not pass it because the Squad wanted more and these RINOs would not support it. But they put all the focus on Manchin and Sinema in the Senate instead so they had “bad guys” to isolate and target for their continued purge of anyone in the DNC who is not a committed communist.
If they made changes to the Senate bill, then it must go to conference and another vote. But it is more procedure than anything.
This will pass. The concern is the empowerment of the Deep State to create laws and spend money without limit. Don’t be surprised if some of these Republicans that are leaving Congress end up in the agencies they just created.
