President Joe Biden arrived in Michigan Tuesday to hawk his $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill and the larger budget bill at a union hall.
The president landed in Lansing and was greeted by Democratic Rep. Elissa Slotkin, who is facing a tough re-election fight next year. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist linked up with Biden on-site.
Biden visited a branch of the International Union of Operating Engineers in Howell, Michigan, the county seat of Livingston County, which chose former President Donald Trump over Biden by more than 20 points.

I never thought in a million years that Sleepy Joe would go to out of all cities in this state, Howell. Howell and Brighton are both blood red areas and also very patriotic areas very upset at Sleepy leaving Americans behind.
Howell is 15 miles from me and I drove by there today. There was at least 500 people there, almost all of them angry at Sleepy. I've heard my idiot Congressloser Slotkin was pissed. Too bad. We're throwing her out of office.

Most of it is outside of Detroit, Oakland County east of I-275, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, or Grand Rapids.
Slotkin only won last time due to Lansing and East Lansing.

I heard (via social media questions) that there were fewer than 20 Joe Biden supporters at the speech itself. Any numbers given out locally - This article (rather deliberately) refused to say anything but “500 “ in the crowd.
She did MAGAs a big favor. She made the chant family friendly!
