Per Fox News - breaking - All flights out of the Kabul airport have been suspended due to the situation there. In other words, the only way out is to try to drive or walk to the border. Pray for those who have been abandoned by our government.
Yes it is. My SIL was is in the 82nd and was deployed Thursday night. He is a right-wing, conservative. He is 100% antithetical to Biden and woke military leadership. So are his buddies.
Head for the Russian or Chinese embassy would be my advice. remember the Canadian embassy’s role during the Iran hostage crisis?

Maybe they should have been prepared for kabul to be over run and evacuated in the past 6 months. Oh that's right, Biden said this would not be a hurried situation because the Taliban would not do this and there would be no helicopters and planes rushing a evacuation. Maybe Millie should extricate his head from his rer and do some actual military work and quit the social experimentation.

Unless they are parachuting in, no one is landing. The Kabul airport is closed. Thousands of desperate people have overrun the airfield and the US military is scrambling to clear them.
We are witnessing a catastrophe in US history live. Thousands of Americans were ordered yesterday to “shelter in place.” They can’t even get to the airport. Thousands more of our allies are facing Taliban death squads who are going door to door and killing them on the spot.
Big question - who is scheduled to be the last American out?
Time to bring in our helicopters and head for the rooftops.

3. The smart ones carried their passports and about a grand in cash as a security blanket just in case. This was on top of the blood chit that is carried by all the operators.
