The author is suffering from Touré Syndrome, the inability to control the posting of hate-filled nonsense.

All the concessions are never enough. Giving them juneteenff did not quiet them down. It made them want more, hate the country more.

There will be another “crisis” before long. It will paralyze the country. Its purpose will be to condition the folks for reparations.

Let them keep their “segregation” and “separate” identifiers and allegiances. Remove the subsidies that finance their special cut-out of our Nation, and see how long they last without participating in commerce within the Naiton.

Doing so will expose every one of their “representatives” in Congress who gladly increase elements of the tax code and payments to keep them, and retain power over them. Call all of this restructuring “ Liberation from Government chattel slavery”.

Let them and their Leftist slave owning Communists chew on that— as socialism and Communism cannot exist without Other People’s Money... for very long.

Thanks for this reply: “Champ, what did you think of Africa?” Ali replied, “Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat.”

The unique Western attitude is captured in Abraham Lincoln’s remark, “As I would not be a slave, so I would not be a master.” Lincoln understandably didn’t want to be a slave, but interestingly, he didn’t want to be a master either. He rejected slavery altogether, and he was willing to expend a good deal of treasure and ultimately a great deal of blood to destroy the institution.

During the Civil War, hundreds of thousands of white men died to bring freedom to African Americans — a group that was not in a position to secure freedom for itself.

Considering these undisputed facts, how should we think about the issue of reparations? My own view of the subject was rather tersely expressed by Muhammad Ali. After defeating George Foreman for the heavyweight title in Zaire, Muhammad Ali returned to the United States where he was asked by a reporter, “Champ, what did you think of Africa?” Ali replied, “Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat.”

Ali’s point was that although the institution of slavery was oppressive for the slaves, paradoxically it benefited their descendants because slavery was the transmission belt that brought African-Americans into the orbit of Western freedom.

"All of the colonies were slave permitting colonies?"

Many of the colonies passed abolitionist laws prior to Independence and the King vetoed those laws.

So while the answer to your question is ultimately "yes", that answer rests on a very large technicality. It was forced on us against our will.

And if there were such a word as “slaveocracy”, that would mean a nation run by slaves, not by slave owners. Self-important idiot.

I’m not aware of any colony that specifically outlawed slavery. There were slaves in northern states, but large-scale slavery made little economic sense in the North. Even in the South, the trend was for slavery ending. It was only the invention of the cotton gin that made large-scale plantation slavery economically viable again.

And then there’s the inconvenient fact that in 1785 the Continental Congress outlawed slavery in the Northwest Territory, likely one of the first places on earth where slavery was specifically outlawed.

And Toué, just remember, those slaves didn’t free themselves all those black fists raised in the air notwithstanding.

“Face it. There no longer exists in America a reasonable consensus of commonly held values. What do rational decent people have in common with BLM, Antifa and the people who support and sympathize with them? Why would rational, decent people want to have dealings with such people at any level?”

Excellent post! Thank you for taking the time to share.

The only Independence Day that I celebrate is the 4th of July.

Anyone who finds that offensive can suck a big one. IDGAF.

The irony is that Toure and all of his like minded friends complaining about their “oppression” is that they are all spoiled brats.

Possibly for the same reason black seminaries have produced so few Christian pastors courageous enough to preach forgiveness and obedience to God to their congregations.
