Ahmed is a Pakistani immigrant, a faithful Muslim, and until recently, a financial consultant to Seattle’s high-tech sector. But when he reached me by phone in October 2020, he was just one more frightened father. Days earlier, he and his wife had checked their 16-year-old son into Seattle Children’s Hospital for credible threats of suicide. Now, Ahmed was worried that the white coats who had gently admitted his son to their care would refuse to return him.
“They sent an email to us, you know, ‘you should take your ‘daughter’ to the gender clinic,’” he told me.
At first, Ahmed (I have changed names in this essay to protect the identities of minor children) assumed there had been a mistake. He had dropped off a son, Syed, to the hospital, in a terrible state of distress. Now, the email he received from the mental health experts used a new name for that son and claimed he was Ahmed’s daughter. “They were trying to create a customer for their gender clinic . . . and they seemed to absolutely want to push us in that direction,” he said when I spoke to him again this May, recalling the horror of last October. “We had calls with counselors and therapists in the establishment, telling us how important it is for him to change his gender, because that’s the only way he’s going to be better out of this suicidal depressive state.”
Syed had been a “straight-A student” and—according to his parents and the family’s therapist—quite brilliant. He is also on the autism spectrum, a young man who neglects to make eye contact and must be given rules for how long to shake hands, shower, or brush his teeth.

While adamantly, vehemently positioned about parental rights,
there should be NO Muslims, Pakistani or otherwise, in the UnitedStates because they cannot honestly swear allegiance to the US Constitution.
You can’t expel legal residents and especially citizens from your country based on religion.
Nice to read an article that puts forth common sense.
One day, hopefully the world will be sane again. Then people will look back in horror at what’s happening today.

That accounts for a large number of teens that get Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria. Middle to upper-class upbringing is also a huge factor. The trans-cult gets to these kids because they know the kids recognize that they are somehow different than their peers but aren’t recognized as different. But they also want to belong to a group. Becoming trans they are now in a group AND are recognized as different and special.
Seattle’s Children’s is the worst.
Some of these places have questions to evaluate your gender.
Questions that answered by any teen is used to con them into thinking they are the other gender.
“Have you ever been embarrassed by your erection?”
“Do you worry about your next menstrual period?”
“Are you uncomfortable with the size of your breasts?”
I didn’t say they can be expelled. I said they should not be here based on the FACT that Islam is an enemy of the US Constitution.
Islam maintains that ALL governments and ALL people MUST submit to Islam.
You can ask them but they will LIE (taqiyya).

I'm wondering if most of the children's hospitals are bad. The one in Boston has had a number of children taken from their parents. It's taken lawyers, lots of money and many months for the parents to get them back.
That’s distressing to hear. Years ago Children’s was world class.

I think it still is world class on so many things. They are just really on the wrong track with the transgender thing. As our most doctors and hospitals.
There is a documentary (a few years old now) on transgenders in Sweden. They are talking with some doctor at the main hospital about their treatment of gender dysphoria.
“Well, we put them through rigorous testing and evaluations before we can determine if they would benefit from hormones and surgery.”
“So how many of these teens have you turned away based on those results?”
“Well, um, none actually.”
Predators are predators — govt sanctioned or otherwise.
I find it VERY difficult to give a rat’s patoot about some muslim’s problems. I’ve done enough reading to know EXACTLY what he and his religion intend for me (the “INFIDEL”). As far as I am concerned, where it comes to muslims, my sympathy meter just seems to go on the fritz. Maybe the best fix to this problem is to suggest he pack up his nut kid and the rest of his muslim horde and return to the sand. I know that this sounds rather cruel. BUT, I just have this thing about people who’s religion commands them to enslave me, forcibly convert me to their religion and/or cut my head off. I DON’T LIKE THEM! So they have a problem. Well, boo hoo. LEAVE! GET! GO! SHOO! AND, DON’T COME BACK!

You and I have obviously been reading up on the OBVIOUS threats that come with islam. They start off calling me an “infidel” and I quite frankly find myself MORE than just concerned or irritated by their religions remedy for dealing with “infidels”. As you point out, it starts with lying to the “infidel”.

By using the example of a muslim family, the author showed "between the lines" how drastically totalitarian this gender-bending ideology is, when even a radically religious family could nearly be ruined up by it. I believe that was her purpose; not promotion of islam.
The same government that would have caused a Federal case if a missionary had tried to convert a muslim youth to the Christian faith had no hesitation trying to convert a muslim child to woke marxist denial of physical reality.
Well that was irrelevant.
