A 21-year-old Amazon driver has been arrested after savagely attacking a 67-year-old customer Thursday following a dispute over a delivery in Castro Valley, Calif.
The driver, Itzel Ramirez, engaged in a heated verbal exchange with the unnamed victim before unleashing a horrific onslaught of punches to the back of the head and the face of the much older woman.
The vicious encounter was caught on video from multiple angles. Ramirez reportedly verbally berated the victim about her “white privilege” before the attack, according to KTVU FOX2. Police say that the victim may have called the suspect a “-—-” before the exchange turned to fisticuffs.

In the early 80’s I was managing a convenience store. Early one morning a very “yuppie” woman came in for coffee. She and I were the only ones in the store at the time. She poured herself a cup of coffee but when she put the single serve creamer in, it curdled (clouds in her coffee?).
When she complained I apologized profusely and told her I’d go back to the refrigerated storeroom and open a new box and that her coffee would be free. I literally ran to the back and back out to her, gone for less than a minute.
When I came back, she called me a stupid b*tch c-word, that I was probably a HS drop out and unlike her, making only minimum wage (neither of which was true) and told me I had made her late for an important meeting (after a minute?) then threw the cup of hot coffee at my head, stormed out the door and got into her BMW and sped away.
I was so shocked, and she sped away too quickly for me to get her plate number, so I didn’t call the police. Fortunately, my reflexes were good back then and the scalding hot coffee only hit me in my upper arm and not in my face.
Looking back though I wish I had jumped over the counter when she called me a stupid b*tch c-word and had cold cocked her. I think I would have been justified and she might have thought twice about ever verbally abusing (or physically assaulting) someone like that again.
Over the years I’ve worked several jobs in retail and customer service and did a stint as a delivery driver. While most customers were decent or even nice, you never forget the a-holes and if you encounter several a-holes in one shift, it can get to you and make you more likely to lose your temper.
That’s not an excuse of course for assaulting a customer or what this Amazon driver did, but yet I can understand how it can happen.
At that same convenience store, every day for over a year, an older man would come in to buy a newspaper which at the time cost IIRC .35, and every day I’d ring him up with a smile, tell him “.35 cents please” and put my hand out and every day he’d literally toss the coins, sometime a quarter and a dime, a quarter and a nickel and 5 pennies, a quarter and 10 pennies, etc. on the counter so that the coins would bounce and slide across the counter landing on the floor behind the counter. I’d still say “thank you sir” but not only did he never acknowledge me but looked at me with complete contempt.
One day I had had a rather bad morning, several rude customers one after another and when he came in for his newspaper and threw the change at me, I reached over the counter, grabbed the newspaper from his hands, picked the change off the floor and threw the coins back at him and said, “from now on, you can buy your G-D newspaper somewhere else. Get out of my store and don’t come back”. He never came back again.
She was defending herself from the violent microaggressions of that white colonial oppressor.

This original altercation was over a late delivery, a driver with a cruddy racist bullshiite attitude, and a customer who called such a person a beeyotch. The driver successfully morphed what the original exchange was “about” by lying and turning it into a bullshiite racially charged situation, which it wasn’t.
I now have learned to turn any and every negatively charged situation into it being “about” the gospel by using the same tactics. Anyone who keys up on me gets the gospel preached at them so that any altercation is then “about” the gospel.
So that brings us to your “real world” case. Since you persisted. I call this the @$$#0[e’s gospel. It is a classic good news-bad news situation.
The good news is that God (Hint: Jesus IS God) does not allow @$$ho/es into Heaven. He refuses to allow Heaven to be polluted by such souls.
The bad news is: You’re an @$$h0/e. If you don’t accept Jesus as God Himself, you’re gonna go to hell, ruled over by the king of @$$h0/es. You need to accept Jesus as God, as LORD, as Savior and show evidence of such acceptance.

does amazon promise a drop dead delivery date? if the driver fell behind schedule on deliveries then amazon may have over-promised deliveries that its drivers could not make. this would understandably irritate customers who then would understandably take their anger out on delivery drivers (here, understandably still does not mean justifiably).
Out in the real world, the young lady will be punished by the criminal justice system and her employer will make a large money settlement to the cranky old lady.
Anyone who buys into the white privilege propaganda crap is in the low IQ arena feral free loading slacker.
Again, out in the real world, the young lady will plea to a much lesser crime, get a short jail sentence, be required to perform community service. The cranky old lady will agree to this because the young ladies former employer will be handing over a large sum of cash to the cranky old lady.
What is forgotten here by you Ikeon is the young lady was being paid to enter private property to perform a service and even if the cranky old lady called her names, this did not give the young lady permission to beat her to a pulp.
