Auditors hired by the Arizona state Senate backtracked Tuesday from claims that a key database had been deleted from Maricopa County's elections servers -- admitting in a hearing held by the Senate Republicans overseeing the audit that the data is intact and they'd been looking the wrong way...
But, Maricopa County officials explained and auditors acknowledged Tuesday, those conducting the audit had made a technical mistake and the database was never deleted...
RAID arrays, used in enterprise servers, are designed for redundancy: They split data among multiple hard drives in a way that allows the data stored on those drives to be maintained and automatically reconstructed in the event that a drive within the array fails.
However, RAID arrays can be constructed in a number of different ways, and Cotton said auditors did not know which construction Maricopa County had used -- which would have left them unable to fully access the contents of the server...

If you are just trying to run up the billable hours, sure.
Here is a question for you. Imagine you are auditing a system where you don't have the passwords to log in. How much will you learn by booting up the system with copies of the disks?
Gee, I wonder if that is why the AZ Senate has been asking for the admin passwords.
Check yours :)
Really dumb is your post. You should not comment on things you do not understand like RAID...read about Dunning-Kruger effect - that is where you are now.
Wouldn’t that be grand...:)

Your tech expert is an idiot if they don’t know how to get into the system, especially a Windows one, when they have physical possession. It’s done all day long.
AZ didn’t want to give another excuse that they “changed someone”, that’s why they formally asked for the password.
“read about Dunning-Kruger effect - that is where you are now.”
That could be a response to 90% of all the posts here.

They have the passwords to the county’s machine with the deleted database.
The county or Dominion is not turning over passwords for the ballot machines. So, auditors only have user rights on the voting machines (which is nothing). That is the password argument, unable to verify if the machines reached out on the internet or communicated remotely. They do have two RJ45 Network jacks and possibly Verizon cards (this is what might be hidden).
What I think doesn't matter one whit.
What matters is evidence, and just saying Maricopa may have been sloppy isn't going to advance the ball.
Maricopa is not only being sloppy but obstructive. The biggest problem is that all this cheating for decades has always been allowed by Republicans (a wink and a nod). Politicians likely even agree on winners and losers secretly through backroom deals.
The whole system is completely corrupt.
Do you believe the county’s response? Are you going to believe them or your lying eyes and ears?
You would have to believe that there was absolutely no cheating to believe there and not believe the factual data put forth in today’s hearing. Mindboggling.
What's "embarrassing" is you falling for CNN Fake News.
In his testimony he clearly and unambiguously states that he didn't know it was RAID 10 and so he had to run scans to determine the configuration.
It was in the process of running these scans that he identified the MFT in question.
You posted from the enemy camp. Is CNN your go to news source?

I find CNN’s altered view of reality rather crafty... to bad most peeps be fooled by it.
Ouch.
It was the one I saw first.
Perhaps you would prefer an original document from the Maricopa County Elections Department?
Lepton was kind enough to post a link to it here.
Or they in on the conspiracy too?
