I don’t know about other locations, but in my hometown in South Carolina, most stations are out of gas, and there are very long lines at the few stations that still have any. Occasionally a truck will show up to fill a gas station’s tanks, and by the time they’re done, there’s a long line of cars. Word travels fast.

I topped off my tank late at night, and avoided the line. The price went up .20c a gallon while I was there.
