Biden’s new climate plan will strip Montana of a vital industry and bankrupt our ranches
Senator Jon Tester (D) wears his agricultural credentials on his sleeve, eagerly relaying to Montana’s farmers and ranchers each campaign how much he supports ag producers, considering he is one. Tester’s family runs an organic farm near Big Sandy, where he pops in to take campaign photos every half-decade or so. But with Biden’s new climate orders in place, the days of Montana’s cattle ranchers being able to conscientiously vote Democrat may soon be over.
Montana’s farming and ranching industry accounts for more than 3.6 billion dollars in revenue each year, and is the second-largest segment of our economy, just behind tourism. While ranchers only make up 5% of the state’s population, they create 17% of the state’s economy. These jobs employ more than 52 thousand people in Montana, or roughly 10% of the workforce.

Montana is a conservative state so I guess Montana doesn’t deserve an economy.
The champagne and brie Democrats forget their power rests on getting 90% of the black vote. And those folks ain't gonna give up their Mickey Dees. Maybe Nan and Schmucker and Kamalatoe ought to visit some of those neighborhoods.
I'm not sure what they make that "meat" out of, but I suspect that with all the filler, you could get a year's worth of Big Macs from 4 pounds of beef.
I have similar eating habits-organic, paleo low carb diet-with some dairy-butter, cheese, yogurt, seeds and nuts-and about 4 lbs of beef per week-plus chicken, fish, maybe pork-no processed food at all-that stuff is poison. I’m not going to sacrifice the healthy lifestyle I’ve been following since childhood to eat meatless carb crap-and I rather doubt that our small ranchers out here are going to quit raising cattle-or goats, or sheep, or raising chickens-Biden and his handlers are living in Lala land...

just about every other person out here has chickens-and at least half the people on this road who have the room for them, has a few goats-keeps the grass mowed, bushes trimmed-and goat milk is given to little ones who have problems with cows’s milk and other digestive upsets-growing up on a ranch we were given goat milk to drink-my mom swore by it-goat cheese is available out here, too-it is popular with tourists, too-I prefer goat cheese to cow cheese...

What are the transport emissions in the US compared to beef?
How are those broken up between trains (no oil pipeline now), trucks, and automobiles?
What are US emissions compared to planned and projected emissions from China and India?

Chickens I’m familiar with also. I was raised in chicken
poop. My dad had 400 layers for bulk sale of eggs to the
local egg processors. We had a small gas station which
was a bus stop for e/w-n/s Trailways buses. My mom
made sandwiches egg, chicken and bought boiled ham we
sliced. We had plenty of fertilizer for the garden, etc.
Closing down the Keystone Pipeline threw thousands of good paying jobs for American workers out the window. To what end? To appease the radicals in his party.
Biden is over reaching and over promising on CO2 emissions as well. Kerry follows Biden's announcement on Earth Day by saying that as well as being carbon neutral, we need eliminate all CO2 emissions from the atmosphere. WTF?!
Biden and Kerry have to be the two dumbest leaders this country has ever had.
They have no idea what they are saying, let alone what it will take to reach these goals and the consequences of their actions just to appease some flussy former bartender, AO-C.
What makes these insane climate change policies so bad is that will accomplish nothing substantive as an end result, except ruining people's livelihoods.
This article talks about ruining Montana ranchers but people all over the country raise beef cattle for a living. These stupid decisions will devastate an industry. My wife and I raise beef cattle on our farm in Florida. I don't see people reducing their beef consumption by 90% in one fell swoop to accomplish some phony climate change agenda. People will rebel and ignore this all over the country. Not only the farmers and ranchers but the consumers who like eating their beef. What are they going toeatin it's place? Soy burgers? I don't think so.
Biden and his fellow commies will run into a brick wall to reach this goal/. Just ain't going to happen.
Chicken crap is the fertilizer of choice out here-also the most available, since your nearest neighbor up the road has it if you don’t have chickens. I live in an area where many of us are preppers/offgriders into organic living-the elites like Biden don’t know anything about REAL natural/sustainable living-to them it is some imagined kumbaya-singing festival-I’ll bet they would STFU if they had to do the real thing for a day or two...
