Good evening/morning, ML...((HUGS))...so happy you could have your family reunion.

Mid 50s all day and for a week or so to come. Lots of melting going on.

Hey there, Kathy. You’re welcome. Happy to add some tunes to the weekend’s festivities.

LOL! Not as cold here as it has been but it’s still cooler than it should be. We had sleet the other night and the following night, a heavy frost.
Tonight through tomorrow morning we’ll have rain and some storms, then a warm-up for a few days.

Not all that chilly tonight since there’s cloud cover to hold some of the day’s warmth in. 59 at the moment so not much warmer than you are. Our high was 64 and we should have been in the 70s.

Your snow’s melting fast, except for the big piles scraped up from roads and parking lots. A guy who has a plane at Lake Hood went out to measure the ice on the lake and it’s down to about 16 inches thick, with about 6 inches of slush on top.

We kinda like the way things look around here and want to keep it that way. :-) We don't want to char the place and hurt/kill the wildlife. We like the critters - - well, except the coyotes.

There are a lot of wild turkeys living in our woods this year and three big toms have been coming close to the house lately. This feller got all big and bad when he saw me at the window when I was snapping pix. LOL

A very pleasant good Saturday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks to the Canteen DJ's for posting the music to today's thread.

Folks, be sure to but the music and support theses artists when they do their live concerts online or live in your area.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...you and Gizmo have a fun time at the lake, on the rocks, in the tall grass, and getting your feet wet.

You guys have a great Saturday.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Were you and Gizmo rudely awakened by storms overnight? It looked mighty rough over there earlier and that stuff is closing in on us.

I didn’t realize how colorful their heads are until I snapped the pix of them the other day. The females are pretty dull. We had that silly one who took up with us for a couple of weeks three years ago that we called Dingbat. She was a trip. No telling where she went after she decided to move on but we hoped for the best for her. Hubby missed having her hang out in the garage while he worked on vehicles.

Thankfully the worst of that stuff stayed in Texas. There was some damage from a tornado West of Wichita Falls.

We were able to get a few minutes of Comanche Lake time. We did have a brief storm pass through. It was raining when we first arrived so only got a few pics.

Stay safe over in TN Radu. Our next possible round of severe weather comes Tuesday.

Y’all were lucky to get off easy. TX had several tornados yesterday.

Bummer that you and Gizmo didn’t get as much time as usual at the lake due to rain but some time is better than none. Can’t say Gizmo looked very happy about the unplanned shower. LOL

We should get through this batch of wet weather in good shape. The stronger storms will stay south of us but I wouldn’t mind a nice thunderstorm or three. :-)
Next Tuesday’s storms apparently aren’t going to come over here. None in our forecast as of now but that could change. The weatherfolks are good about changing their minds from one day to the next. LOL

This tune was in the original version of the movie, but for some reason, it was cut out. I saw the uncut version on TV years after the film was released.

I saw American Graffiti in the theater during its first run and then saw it several more times. I wore out two cassette versions of the soundtrack. When I see the movie, I have a feeling that I’m in it—one of the teenagers cruising the streets of Modesto, Calif. on Saturday, September 1, 1962.
