Brand new survey data suggest that corporations that cave to the left alienate more consumers than they attract — by a big margin. Glenn Reynolds's slogan "Get woke, go broke" turns out to be very true.
Yesterday, in discussing the departure of its general counsel, who mandated a (quite probably illegal) quota for law firms working for the Coca-Cola Company to have 30% of their billable hours performed by minorities and 15% by Blacks, I noted that the company "seems to be learning the hard way that signing up for the racialist agenda of the left has a downside." Today, we learn, via a Rasmussen poll, some of the sort of data that must have convinced the company to quietly retreat from so openly race-mongering.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 37% of American Adults the company's stand against the new Georgia law makes them less likely to purchase Coca-Cola products. Twenty-five percent (25%) say they are more likely to buy Coke, but 30% say the company's political stance doesn't make much difference.
The survey of 1,000 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on April 15 and 18, 2021 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
Of course, the minority lawyer quota was only part of Coke's antagonizing a large part of the public.

Who’s Les White?
Broke my Diet Coke addiction 15 years ago and never was a regular Coke drinker, so I had to hunt for something to not buy anymore...bingo! No more Schweppes tonic...now it’s Canada Dry.
Switched to Perrier years ago.
WHAT FOOLS! They can’t even tell which way the wind is blowing!
The real number is how many will continue to boycott these companies will outlast those who will buy from them temporarily. We have much more conviction and much longer memories
An old girlfriend of mine used to say that Coke employees run around Atlanta acting like the Kennedy clan does in Boston and New York.
Get woke, go broke.
“I’m a bit of a believer in ‘go broke, go woke’ theory that companies that were already hurting (TV, Disney, Hollywood) were looking at the #’s and were throwing darts. A lot of it is all the diversity hires and women in marketing/HR too though.”
Coca-Cola is hiding the truth:
<><> soda sales have been declining for years, due to health-conscious consumers,
<><> this virtue signaling nonsense is a consequence of those declining sales, not the cause,
<><> they are desperately grasping at anything to try to offset their decline.
Brands go woke because they’re going broke!

“Get woke, go broke”, is a conservative meme about the cost of political correctness that has it the wrong way around. Brands don’t go broke because they get woke, they go woke because they’re going broke, and don’t know how to stop the slow but steady collapse of their business.

“...alienate more consumers than they attract — by a big margin”
Yet, we are to believe “their” candidate won, selling the same garbage, by a big comeback margin? #stopthesteal
I notice Coca-Cola’s former house counsel is now collecting his paycheck as a ‘consultant’ rather than a Coke executive.
The problem is, when every company is woke, where do you go?
Over time, people crawl back, every single time.
CEOs are products of 60 years of NEA, msm, and other liberal indoctrination...so there you go...
I am really offended by their “Minute Maid” orange juice. “Maid” is a servile, low-ranking person just above slave, a victim of the white, patriarchy. Why, the very name suggests she’s going to service her master in one quicky minute.
They should do the right thing and change the name.
Several years ago walmart opened where I lived. Went there and bought groceries and paid with my debit card. Their card reader would not accept my pin. Manager called over who said in a loud voice so everyone in line could hear “you have to have money in your account to use your debit card”. At that moment I probably had 15k in my account. I took my card and walked out. Have never, to this day, set foot in that store. I believe it has been 12 years now. So these things do have a lasting impact.
“Republicans buy sneakers, too”
Something like $600,000 / month.
As for me, I don’t buy the products of any company in favor of Voter Fraud.
Coca-Cola (Woke-a-Cola) is run by racists.
