GOP Senators Admit Biden Walking Circles Around Them, Won’t Attack Him Because He’s A ‘Nice Guy’

No. 2 Senate Republican John Thune (S.D.) admitted that many of his colleagues actually like Biden, which makes is more difficult to define him as a radical.

“His tone is moderate and he’s an affable person, he’s a likeable individual and a lot of us know him, have relationships with him and it’s probably harder to attack somebody who is relatable and likeable,” Thune said.

“Moderate” tone? Biden has repeatedly characterized the Georgia voter ID law as “Jim Crow 2.0”.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (K.y.) even said he and Biden “have been friends for a long time”, and Sen. John Cornyn (Texas) called him a “nice person.”

In less than 100 days occupying the White House, Biden has created the biggest immigration crisis in U.S. history, destroyed thousands of U.S. jobs, caved to China on the world stage, stoked racial tensions, and vowed to curtail the Second Amendment.

But to Republican leadership, Biden is just a “nice guy” and a “first-rate person.”

For clarity, Biden has frequently ridiculed voters over the years, calling one man “fat” and a “liar”, and another auto worker “full of shit” for accusing him of wanting to restrict the Second Amendment.

Not to mention Republicans still can’t land effective attacks against Biden despite his daily dementia-ridden gaffes, faux pas, and outright PR disasters.

This is why the Republicans always lose, why Democrats have been gaining ground at light speed, and ultimately, why Donald Trump is not in the White House.

They like being the "loyal" opposition to democrats.

Which is why as many of them must be removed as possible.

Ronald Reagan once called Joe Biden “a smooth, but pure, demagogue.”

Biden's demagoguery defines his 50-year political career. He's all talk about bi-partisanship, "civility and unity."

Demagogue is defined as a political type who seeks support by appealing to the prejudices of his voting base.

Joe Biden has a particular demagogic skill........for monetizing his political demagoguery.

"...Republican John Thune (S.D.) admitted that many of his colleagues actually like Biden..."

Nice people don't support ripping the arms and legs off of little baby boys and little baby girls, John.

THIS is why Republicans are a rump of a once proud party.

I am moving to the view that we need a 50 mile wide asteroid that will be an extinction level event and the planet can start over in 50 million years and see if intelligent life can evolve.

THey should rename themselves the Washington Generals.

While arguably for most of history, they were better than the Generals (who had, as of the beginning of 2020 3 wins to show against close to 19000 losses), at present the Generals are trying harder, and certainly would be an improvement on at least a third of the GOP senate caucus

"No. 2 Senate Republican John Thune (S.D.) admitted that many of his colleagues actually like Biden, which makes is more difficult to define him as a radical."

So:

  1. Gun bans and registration lists is not radical?
  2. Packing the Supreme Court is not radical?
  3. Taking voting from the States (without a change to the Constitutional) is not radical?
  4. Passing reparations is not radical?
  5. Doing away with the internal combustion engine is not radical?
  6. Embracing a racial policy (Critical Race Theory) that white people are evil based on the color of their skin is not radical?

I'd hate to see what IS radical, then.

...many of [Thune's] colleagues actually like Biden...

That's because many of Thune's colleagues, like him, have no backbone...

"I'd hate to see what IS radical, then."

I would describe Thune's belief that Biden is a moderate as a case of ghastly stupidity.

Nothing personal, but one hopes that the Republicans get back to business. Any opposition they may have toward any piece of legislation that Joe Stolen may be putting forth would not be directed at the current occupant of the Oval Office, but to the cabal behind him that is writing the proposals and stage-managing that is going on in this Kabuki theater.

The Hide-N-Barris regime is running amok, and like a wild team of horses, must be reined in quickly.
