Tepid support after Hispanic-majority border counties voted for Trump
A Marist poll commisssioned by NPR shows a minority of Latino voters support President Biden's immigration policy while independent voters oppose it by 2 to 1.
Overall, only 33% of voters approve and 54% disapprove of policies that have been criticized even by some Democrats as responsible for the surge of migrants at the border that has overwhelming the immigration system...

Shouldn’t be a surprise. First of all, the migrants will move into largely Hispanic neighborhoods. Second, they will try to undercut pay to obtain blue collar and manual labor jobs which has a depressing effect on wages via increasing the supply of labor.
Third as Biden said “Hispanics are not homogeneous”. Some Mexicans don’t like El Salvadorans and vice versa. Some Cubans don’t like Colombians. And so on. Lots of rivalries and lots of foreign interference by their home countries that we don’t know about - but they do. The French would not be happy if a bunch of Germans moved in.
Dems don’t care. The outcome of any future election is already decided.

This is nothing new. I owned/managed a company in Pico Rivera, CA in late 80's through 90's. My employees were mostly Hispanic as was Pico Rivera. Everyone of my employees resented illegal aliens because of your statement above.
Also, while the Hispanics in that area were mostly second and third generation, they were pissed that the illegal Mexicans were bringing their third-world culture to their neighborhoods and trashing it. Some even had homes that went down in value.
I've been fighting this issue since before anyone recognized it as a threat. During Navy and owning a home in Imperial Beach (a mile from the border) and on a cul-de-sac, I would have to chase them off our property as they awakened my scared children. Our side gate was due Norte to them.
Biteme invited them in with his campaign rhetoric. This border cluster is ALL due to him. Trump was getting it under control and I was encouraged as were many Hispanics. I kept reminding people of when was the last time they heard of a caravan after Trump got his policies in place. Now what do we have under HidenBiden and his fake VP?

This Hispanic Native Texan doesn’t want those mojados here-and neither do other Hispanics born here that I know-most of us are from very old families that have been here for 150-200+ years-we are not sympathetic to illegals...
