Strom, a case that could have sweeping consequences for policing, due process, and mental health, with the Biden Administration and attorneys general from nine states urging the High Court to uphold warrantless gun confiscation. Unfortunately, I think you are correct.

These rights have been identified through a process of "reasoning-by-interpolation", where specific principles are recognized from "general idea[s]" that are explicitly expressed in other constitutional provisions.
All rights were written, in English, and mean what they said.

The people ALWAYS have a right to guns, regardless of the 2A, as the right to life is inalienable, and society today, access to guns is right to life.
Getting rid of the 2A, though, allows the government to "legally", in their feeble minds, usurp our right to life.
