The delayed Tokyo Olympics will be held without foreign fans and volunteers, the organising committee has decided.
The games, which were postponed from last year due to coronavirus, are scheduled to open on 23 July to 8 August, with the Paralympics due to follow from 25 August to 5 September.
The decision was made by the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Organising Committee following talks with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), local organisers, the Japanese government, the Tokyo metropolitan government and the International Paralympic Committee.

Yeah, it does screw the amateurs vying for achievement.
The last Olympics I actually watched was London or Vancouver.
I’m banning the Olympics from my world, so all good.

Japan believes in borders. The demographic that never seems to change is African Americans and they never seem to wonder why. It’sbeen a steady 12 to 13% forever. Abortion and black yutes killing each other just might be the cause.
Japan prefers their own kind, which I’m completely cool with.
The PRC has the 2022 Winter Olympics. With the Biden Admin I am unsure if they would pull that trigger but given the PROVEN Genocide, China’s winter may be too cold!

Sounds good to me.
Watching pro football was worse, they piped in fake crowd noise so loud it was super annoying , had to mute everything.
Even athlete’s parents aren’t allowed.
Totally absurd with all the precautions now available. I gave up on Japanese news after they shut down borders when the new cases in Tokyo rose to more than 300 a day.
Pretty easy to do when your country is an island.
