Cumulus Media and Westwood One have agreed to terms with conservative commentator Dan Bongino to host a daily three-hour show from 12-3pm eastern.
Bongino currently hosts a daily podcast for Westwood One that since March 2020 has been repurposed into a one-hour syndicated show on over 100 stations including 790 KABC Los Angeles and 560 KSFO San Francisco.
The new show would air live in the timeslot currently held by Limbaugh on many if not all Cumulus owned Conservative Talk and News Talk stations.
Bongino is a former NYPD officer and Secret Service agent turned conservative pundit and investor in digital properties including Parler and Rumble. He has previously served as a fill-in host at WMAL Washington and WBAL Baltimore and multiple syndicated talkers including Sean Hannity.
An official announcement should be forthcoming by early next week.

I travel enough in a car that that 3-hour slot is often on the entire 3 hours. I think I won't have any difficulty listening to Bongino. It isn't reasonable to say, "He isn't Rush or as listenable." No one ever has been. Rush's equal doesn't exist today.
I think Bongino has put real effort into venues to compete with the social media enemies of the United States. I hope he finds a way to continue that or works with such as Mike Lindell to do it. Bongino may have always been able to afford it. He really can now.
Rush had 600 stations. Dan is going to be on 100 or so. Realistically people will succeed Rush, no one will replace him.
A couple days ago, WCBM in Baltimore, where Dan got his start in radio as a sub and where Producer Joe worked for 25 years or so won’t be going with him. They announced their lineup last week.
We will have to livestream the EIB Network here in North Georgia!! WSB hated airing Rush and Hannity anyway!! I hated listening to their leftwing newscasters at the top of the hour anyway!!
Like Dan. Rather have Mark Steyn.

Bongino is lean and mean, he won't mince words and he doesn't pull his punches..

I see what you did there.
He was my first choice as noted here many times. Prager is, at times, rather boring... Male - Female hour, etc. Steyn is fine but his voice grates on me after a while. Mark Davis who used to guest host years ago would have been good but he prefers the local market in DFW. The other guest hosts do OK, but it’s time to move on to a permanent host and I’m pleased Dan Bongino is getting the shot at it. I wish him 1/2 the success that Rush enjoyed, he has huge shoes to fill!
Rush’s success was his dedication to radio and beings broacaster first. I cannot imagine how often he practiced speaking in front of a mic as a kid before he even acquired so much of his conservative thinking.
He was a real showman and people loved to listen to him for what he thought, because he was so well practiced.
I was hoping for Steyn as well. Witty and spot on logic.
