FBI Director Wray won’t share Officer Brian Sicknick’s cause of death with senators

FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday refused to tell senators the cause of death for Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, whose death heavily influenced coverage of the Capitol riot.

Reports after Jan. 6 originally said Sicknick died after being bludgeoned by a fire extinguisher while fighting off then-President Donald Trump’s supporters, which authorities didn’t deny at the time. The claim became part of the impeachment trial case against Trump for allegedly inciting the riot — though his family now says it’s untrue.

Wray cited an “ongoing” investigation into Sicknick’s death.

“I certainly understand and respect and appreciate the keen interest in what happened to him — after all, he was here protecting all of you. And as soon as there is information that we can appropriately share, we want to be able to do that. But at the moment, the investigation is still ongoing,” Wray said at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked if that meant the FBI “have not determined” the cause of Sicknick’s death.

“That means we can’t yet disclose a cause of death at this stage,” Wray said.

Grassley pressed on, asking Wray to confirm whether the FBI has determined a cause of death.

“I didn’t say that. We’re not at a point where we can disclose or confirm the cause of death,” Wray said.

Sicknick’s cremated remains had the rare distinction of lying in honor last month in the Capitol Rotunda.

Recent news reports say the FBI believes that a capsaicin-based “bear spray” may have caused Sicknick’s death, though those reports also have not been confirmed on the record by authorities.

The officer’s mother said in a recent interview that the family also remained in the dark, though they believed that being bludgeoned was not the cause of death.

My best guess is that Sicknick “knew too much” and threatened to blow the whistle on the staged “armed insurrection”.

We thought the Democrats couldn’t get lower when they staged their first funer-rally, then their second funerally, then their third, and they kept getting lower, even staging one on McCain. But at least those early funerallies were danced on the graves of their own fellow Democrats and the latter, a RINO. But this latest funerally they danced on Sicknick was dancing on one of our own fellow Trump supporters.

They’re anticipating the possibility of Biden’s, no doubt. He’s useful to them alive as a puppet, or dead as a centerpiece.

Yup. Pelosi wanted trouble that would reflect badly on President Trump and his supporters. She truly is a witch.

True,

But Trump had ample opportunity to clean these people out of government. Also, Trump has not offered any explination as to why he did not.

Wray is just another liberal fascist operative.

Wray is in charge of the Stasi wing of the FBI, which is fast becoming a state organ to persecute the People.

Indeed. Sicknick could have been Seth Riched.

And those two Capitol Police officers who later snuffed themselves?

Was that a case of Arkancide? We may never know.

Given the FBI is suppressing this evidence, it becomes more likely that
that officer and probably the two “suicide” cop victims, were assassinated
for discovering the FBI’s false flag Capital Breach plans.

I really believe not even Trump was powerful enough to get rid of Wray. He only managed to get rid of Comey because Hillary and the Rats also wanted Comey gone.

Agreed.

The way Trump and the rest of the GOP have gone along with Fauci, the Gates vaccines, etc., is what most makes me wonder if he wasn’t, unfortunately, controlled opposition if not all along, at least through his term in office.

It's been nearly two months - how long does it take to investigate one man's death? It sounds like they are hoping - hoping - to find some footage of the officer being hit by a fire extinguisher or some other object, and are going to examine footage and photographs for the next three months. The autopsy be damned.

Meanwhile, within a day or two of the riot, the FBI announced that no Antifa or BLM were involved. How could they have known that when the investigation had barely begun?

If Trump fires Wray, who does he replace him with? Trump does not know DC crowd personally very well. Trump relied on recommendations by GOP senators.

It is a very big swamp, getting rich on backs of hard working middle class.

“Total politics.”

Total leftist politics, to turn patriots into enemies of the state, isolate them, silence them, take their guns and then go full Big Brother over us all.

Cretins like Wray are the enemies of America our Founders and our Constitution.

“Does anyone know how Wray, former law partner of Sally Yates in Atlanta, get on Trump’s shortlist? What person put Wray in the position to be selected by Trump?”

“A lot of deep staters got into Trump’s ear, and pointed him in the wrong direction every time.”

I suspect Trump had no idea how deep the corruption is in DC, how evil and deceitful the deep staters are, and was innocently naive about what DC really is — a den of thieves for grifters and con artists.

Trump thought it was a much more noble place, with many noble people. Wrong.
