The medical profession has really bought into COVID because of the simple fact that they got paid bonuses if the person had COVID. They were claiming that COVID was impacting minorities more, but failed to mention that if you did not have insurance and said you had COVID, the government paid 100% of all the medical expenses. They bribed medical professionals to turn COVID into a national crisis, and even with all of the hype the death toll is only 0.028%..... Now families are starting to demand investigations because their loved one was listed as dying of COVID when they were not. I have received emails from numerous people where their mother was in their 90s and dying of old age, went to the hospital for their final days, and suddenly died of COVID. In Britain, many medical experts are now insisting that too many fatalities were being blamed on the virus. One funeral director has spoken out calling this “a national scandal,” according to the Daily Mail. In Britain, there are no reported flu cases, and in Canada reports of the flu are just a fraction of what they were.
Mrs. L was hospitalized in December, with legitimate, honest to goodness COVID induced pneumonia.
Not one bill. Not one co-pay. Not one deductible.
For that we are grateful.
HOWEVER...there’s some stuff going on, like redundant oxygen equipment with is no longer needed or wanted but “per XXXX medical group’s policy we are required to deliver” which verges on FRAUD.

Friend took his wife to the Dr last Friday, she was having severe stomach cramps.. the female kind. He was having some stomach issues as well and he’s had them before.
Doc tells the wife to take some aspirin and to go back on the pill to ease the cramps.
Tells the friend he needs a covid test. He takes it, Doc says it negative but states he has covid.
Friend asked why does he have covid if the test is negative.
Doc says the test are always wrong then tells my friend his wife should have told the Doc that her husband has covid and then proceeds to tell my friend to go home and quarantine.
Friend tells the Doc to F’ off, grabs his wife and goes home.
They’re home and doing fine.
True story.
Yep. That’s essentially what I have been saying from the beginning, but most is my family, friends and coworkers were so desperate for it to be real that it became pointless to discuss it any further. I guess that’s what happens when people are consumed with tv shows like the Walking Dead or they take the opinions of politicians and billionaires as gospel.
As a side note, I recall somebody posting on FR a couple of months ago arguing it was a fake pandemic. He/she got flamed by most FReepers. His / her last comment was always: “Just because you want something to be true doesn’t make it true.”
If you can not see the lies, misrepresentation, back tracking, politics, statistics, corruption, etc...that do not add up, fine with me. The agenda is FEAR. The facts stand: the Covid flu is 99 percent survivable, the average age of death is 72 years old. Are you over 65? Are you scared? Then go ahead by all means run out and get yourself a shot of EXPERIMENTAL vaccine. Big pharma pulled a fast one by labeling the vaccines experimental, then through FEAR had the masses line up to take the concoction like lab mice.....Both vaccines stated they skipped many steps to develop it....animal testing was non existent. Thank you for your “ lab mouse” service.

Good post .True story, My younger wife listened to the fake news for months, endless fear being peddled, her mental health deteriorated to a degree our kids started asking “ what happened to Mom”? I had enough, I cancelled our Cable, no more CNN, MSNBC, no more misinformation and fear peddling. Her Covid fear has now subsided after a few months of no TV, but my kids are now on me to get cable back,,,,,No way, ever again.
I posit the Work & Street Test. I live outside the Covid hotbed of Cleveland Ohio — mask requirements for the past half year, and most everyone working from home.
My street - 4 Covid positive tests: Recoveries 4 Deaths 0
My employer - 76 Covid positive tests: Recoveries 66, with 10 alive and in quarantine
500,000 Covid-deaths my ass, this was part of the 2020 election fraud.

Sorry to hear your story. The virus is real, but so are the numbers that are generally approximate with the flu.
There was so much fear sown in our society that it has paralyzed many people. Why? There are many answers and not all of them are nefarious, but it is impossible to separate the politics of this disease and “orange man bad” and the overall perception of the public responding to fear porn from our media.
The economics of Covid as well as the flip-flopping “experts” and deliberate “dishonesty for the greater good” have caused many people to entirely dismiss the virus. That is not right either.
This thing is a mess. It remains a mess in terms of understanding the “pandemic” and the governmental response. It will be like that for awhile. Years from now after the emotion of the moment has disappeared the after-action review will conclude that we did some things right, but we did even more wrong in my humble opinion.
Prayers for all those suffering from the actions of China (another thing conveniently forgotten) and hope your wife gets her sea-legs back under her with it. There are many folks like her out there that need to conquer their fear regardless of their exposure.

Yes. I researched it a “bit” and found it was debunked, but only as quoted from a completely different source.
My daughter and her husband actually got Rona. It was mild and for only a few days, but they DID lose their sense of taste for about a week. That’s something new.
