Washingtonian Magazine Reveals Laughable Horrors of Trump Hotel
Newsbusters ^ | February 21, 2021 | P.J. Gladnick

Trump Derangement Syndrome can have such a powerful effect on people that it can cause them to inadvertently praise their targets while simultaneously slamming their TDS allies without them even being aware of it. This can produce quite a comical effect as was the case of the Friday article in Washingtonian magazine in which Jessica Sidman attempts to slam President Donald Trump and his friends but, due to the TDS boomerang effect, does just the opposite.

You can see Sidman's intended target in the title of the article, "Trump Hotel Employees Reveal What It Was Really Like Catering to the Right Wing Elite." The subtitle lists what are supposed to be among the horrors of the Trump International Hotel but when you actually read the story, it turns out to be anything even close to being much of anything: "Four years' worth of stories about VIP visits and grooming protocols, palm-greasing, rotten vegetables, and that time they lost Steve Mnuchin’s coat."

The first laughable revelation portrays Trump as being a stickler for cleanliness as well as having a fondness for Diet Coke. Oh, the horror!!!

How could you vote for a guy who eats chocolate covered raisins?

The only bad behavior was from TDS addled people who harassed the staff.

Summary:

Trump is a germaphobe and has a few Howard Hughes-like quirks concerning his food.

Trump likes steak, shrimp cocktail, and junk food.

Trump can get peevish if one of his guests gets a larger steak than he does.

Nobody is allowed to use Trump’s favorite table except Trump, his family and his inner circle.

Tourists and others tried to bribe restaurant staff to get better tables.

No garnishes like parsley allowed on Trump’s entrees.

Trump VIPs (like Mike Lindell) are catered to in great detail.

You can get yelled at (not by Trump) for not recognizing and catering to Trump VIPs.

Rudy was a daily pain in the neck.

Hope Hicks pulled rank.

Trump kids are polite and unproblematic.

They lost Mnuchin’s coat, but found it later, and he didn’t make a fuss.

Jobs pay very well, but you can get shamed by creeps in DC when they learn you work for Trump.

The End.

The Trump hotel in DC has the best happy hour munchies. I always stop in when I have to go back to DC for work.

Indeed, just another example of systemic raisinism!

I have been to the Trump DC hotel twice and each experience was very nice. The waitstaff are very good.

So basically Trump, the owner and POTUS had a list of this he liked and wanted done, just like any famous musician who demands their dressing room have specific food, drinks, etc. before and after each show.

“Anticipate even the unexpected needs and wishes of our guests.” Just a little something from the “Credo” of a luxury brand hotel company.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Well, that was until dinner, at the amazing steak restaurant.....where Newt Gingrich pulled rank, on the kitchen.

Then....majority of guests had delayed dinners/service :^(

#2. I LOVE Raisinettes. The sign of a healthy eater.

Ironically, one of the last times I was in what became the Trump Hotel was when I was reporting to the Washington Field Office of the FBI about my undercover work. You should have seen the file cabinets. As a historian, I’m SOOOO JEALOUS of them.

On the way in, on a cabinet right next to the door, were the photographs of 2 FBI agents who were ambushed and killed in the line of duty, one being the first black agent to be so. The respect that the SAC showed towards these two men would make any patriot cry with pride.

Today, I don’t even know if Dir. Wray knows where his ass is.
