I suspect that the gentleman I have been listening to since early last year, Chris Plante will get the those hours very soon.

I like Chris Plante and still listen to him here in Indiana via WLS 890AM radio. Chris has a different style, that is for sure. Chris’s sharpness and repeatative style, sometimes has me shouting “Shut up Chris,” similar to my saying the same to Hannity when he repeatedly talks over the folks he has as guests.
Of possible permanent replacements, Mark Styne is my top choice. He can be witty and yet give a sting when needed. And has a graciousness that I rarely hear from Chris.
Delving into the past, the late Tony Snow and Walter Williams were excellent guests hosts and complimented Rush’s style.
