The Supreme Court of the Unit­ed States (SCOTUS) is set to hear a num­ber of high-pro­file elec­tion fraud cases.

The SCOTUS is now sched­uled to con­sid­er the vot­er fraud cas­es for Penn­syl­va­nia, Michi­gan, and Geor­gia on Feb­ru­ary 19, 2021.Justices will hear the cas­es that allege wide­spread fraud in the 2020 pres­i­den­tial election.

Among those to be heard are Repub­li­can Rep. Mike Kel­ly’s Penn­syl­va­nia elec­tion case, pro-Trump lawyer Sid­ney Pow­ell’s Michi­gan elec­tion case, and attor­ney Lin Wood’s Geor­gia elec­tion case.

Tried to read the article; couldn’t find it for all the ads.

However, the cases are scheduled to be distributed for conference on Feb. 19. That’s when they’ll decide if they dismiss the case based on available information, request further information/review, or entertain oral arguments at a future date. They will not be hearing oral arguments this Friday.

I looked up one of the cases argued last month. It was distributed for conference back in September 2020. I wouldn’t be surprised if these cases have a similar schedule, assuming the Justices move them forward.

Let’s say theoretically that occurs. Nothing, because the Electoral College has already voted and elected Biden as President. The only remedy would then be impeachment and conviction, which would make Nancy Pelosi President of the United States if that were to occur.

Nope, because this is unchartered and undefined territory, and even if it weren't the Court has never ruled on such a thing and it would be folly to try to deduce how it would land with the current cast.

I don't know about the law with regard to elections. BUT there are laws as to stolen property.

In fact, even in the State of CA, theft laws now include "misappropriation of found property".

If it isn't yours, you are not allowed to keep it.

Don't know but will venture a guess.
Not a lawyer but I play one on FR.

First the truth needs to come out. So we can prevent fraud in the future. And hopefully prosecute those who executed the fraud.

If the court finds sufficient fraud did occur, then several possibilities could occur.

• Nothing.
• In light of the evidence, the states affected, could petition Congress to decertify their original vote, and accept new ones. And if enough states doe that, Congress may meet and name Trump the winner. It's not hard to see the states doing that if the evidence is strong enough. It is very hard to see Congress decertifying the prior votes and recertifying new ones in favor of Trump given that more than half the House and more than half the Senate have voted to impeach Trump. The evidence would have to be very strong AND Congressmen would have to grow consciences and spines.
• Joe Biden and Kamala could be embarrassed enough by the Fraud to step down. I'm sure they would only do that after consultation with Congress.
• If the fraud directly implicate "We built the greatest voter fraud organization in the history of America" Biden, then Congress could impeach Biden. And maybe Kamala. Which would make Pelosi acting President. There is zero guarantee that Congress would do the right thing and name Trump President. I can't imagine Pelosi would do it. If Biden steps down, Kamala becomes POTUS, and I can't see Kamala or Pelosi naming Trump.
• SCOTUS could rule that in light of the evidence Trump won the election. In which case Congress might go along and decertify/recertify the votes accordingly. (This is the best option as it puts significant pressure on Congress to do the right thing.)

Fyi, I have NO idea what the SCOTUS will/can do & frankly I don’t think that any of us six FR members are EXPERTS in such a case.

I was rather HOPING that we have a QUALIFIED lawyer/jurist, who intimately KNOWS the laws pertaining to KNOWING, PREMEDITATED, ELECTION FRAUD & perhaps what amounts to HIGH TREASON against the USA.

I was hoping she would join Alito and Thomas, but she chose to join Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and the liberal SCOTUS block.

Justice Amy Barrett. Trump pushed her nomination expecting problems with the election and the cases would go to SCOTUS. Before she was confirmed SCOTUS deadlocked 4-4 on expediting hearing the PA case. So we are all still waiting for Amy to come out of her shell and be the 5th vote to save the Republic. She has been afraid that some people won't like her if she does the right thing...
