Up here in North Dakota you can enter the oil field as no skill labor, learn, advance, and within 5 years with overtime earn a 6 figure salary if you’re willing to work hard. Just what can they transition into that pays that well?
Additionally, the local reservations rely on those great paying jobs to take care of a large extended family. You got 1 son earning 110k, the whole family lives well.
