Will fortune favor the Democrats forever? In times like these, historical events often serve as a reliable guide to help us interpret what we're experiencing

In times like these, historical events often serve as a reliable guide to help us interpret what we're experiencing.

The events at the Capitol on January 6 were certainly tumultuous and a harbinger of things to come.  The Democrats are nothing if not ruthless and opportunistic.  That they favor party and power far more than the national good is well established, with decades of behavior and actions as proof.  They see January 6 as nothing more than an opportunity to expand their power and diminish their political opponents.

The Democrats' very governing approach is one of pure cynicism and illustrates quite clearly that power and control are all they are really interested in.  For years, the Democrats have simply divided the electorate up into what they identify as victim groups.  The groups themselves may vary a bit from election cycle to election cycle, depending on the exact social winds that happen to be blowing at that particular time, but the pattern never varies:

Democrats are never really concerned with the country as a whole; instead, they continually select "winners" and "losers," adhering to distorted, counterproductive views of so-called social justice, racial quotas, diversity, and equality of outcome that run exactly counter to the merit-based, entrepreneurial, self-sufficient spirit on which this country was founded.  It doesn't matter to the Democrats that their taxpayer-funded solutions never work.  Their goal is to buy the votes, not to fix the problem.  Indeed, they need the problem to exist in perpetuity as justification for their actions.

I agree that another way to interpret events mentioned above is that they can go at great cost to crush their opposition. We don't know what their cost is and how much cost they are willing to bear. We don't know how cohesive their group is. They certainly try to achieve the cohesiveness by imposing draconian measures on many.

But numbers work in our favor. Quantity has quality of it own if there are simply too many of individuals or small groups resisting them. History shows this has actually worked. At great cost for a total victory, at lesser cost to wear them down and force them to full retreat, or their ultimate demise by sowing the seed of internal infighting.

More than half of the ostensibly opposition party are also progressives.

How about 1928? The “dry” movement had the White House, Senate, and House and it seemed Prohibition was going to be around for that very long time. However, within two or three years, serious talk about repealing the 18th Amendment was well underway.

Some change is required for our attitude.

1) God won’t fix it for us.

2) We are not their daddy.

We should move away from the notion that divine intervention will somehow vanquish the evil we are facing.

We need to stop thinking that it is always our responsibility to keep society afloat which they are bent on destroying. We are no longer daddies to clean up the mess their spoiled children created.

The Rats are not a traditional party, but an unstable coalition of special interest groups. They will inevitably split, just like an unstable radioactive atom is destined to fall apart.

Just wait until Bidet resumes the uniparty stupidity in the Middle East. That cost $7 Trillion in 20 years, and he wants to rejoin the Iran deal. More pallets of cash, coming up.

It would be quite a magic act to spend monstrous sums at home and abroad, while enacting amnesty, climate cretin taxes, fighting COVID, and appeasing BLM.

The Rats think they can keep fooling 75-80 MM Americans. Good luck.

“God said to Abraham that He would spare Sodom and Gomorrah if there were a mere 10 righteous people. Surely there are millions of righteous people here in this country...”

He also said He wouldn’t never destroy the earth again by flood. He never said anything about letting man destroy it on his own!

Who needs fortune when you can steal the vote and the Chinese will launch biological attacks to help you?

I think the Rats are correct in their assessment of fooling 70-80 million people forever. When was the last time you were able to convince a liberal of anything, despite the evidence.

I know a few people who still believe that Trump was in Russia’s pocket, despite Mueller’s report exhonerating him, the New York Times admitting it wasn’t true, Congressional testimony denying this accusation and even those who originally made the accusation recanting.

I think Biden remorse will come quickly. Bidens energy and green policies will quickly drive up the price of gas, electricity and anything delivered by truck. We have grown used to stable gasoline prices that were not spiked by the latest BS in the Middle East. Widespread blackouts that paralyze commerce and leave those smug drivers of electric cars stranded. People will literally be shivering or sweltering in darkened homes due to the high cost of energy and the unreliable supply of green electricity. People already sick of mask mandates and COVID lockdowns and restrictions will find Biden and the petty tyrant governors doubling down with new restrictions. Unemployment will skyrocket and higher taxes will further crush the recovery. Attempts to conficate guns will be a disaster. 2022 could see firm GOP control of Congress and a majority of state governments.

Under normal conditions your analysis would be very plausible, but unless there is a way to stop massive election fraud, I don't see how the Democrats can be defeated. They will do everything to maintain the current situation. Meanwhile, the Republican Party establishment seems intent on committing suicide by alienating the majority of the people who voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.

I have never thought of myself as a Republican, but rather as an Anti-Democrat. I vote for the Republicans simply as a way to keep Democrats out of office. Neither party is deserving of approval but the Stupid Party isn't quite as bad as the Evil Party.

With every new strangulating piece of legislation, we are forced to place our trust in God's Hands. Which is the way He likes it. He loves doing stuff for us.

Some of us, or even most of us, may no longer be around when He decides to set things right but he will set things right. That's what He does. He brings order out of chaos.

The over-reaching of liberals right now is epic. They are following the Chinese model of Marxism to a T, but Americans aren’t the same as Chinese peasants whose lives were stuck in the 17th Century.

The worm will turn and it will start in the States and in the Primaries.
