What sort of insurance can a company just cancel if the premiums are paid on time?? Insurance policies are generally a contract and they can’t simply be terminated for political reasons.

I wonder if this was really a “cancellation” or just a refusal to renew at the annual renewal of the policy. It’s not uncommon in property & casualty insurance.
Does Schilling explain what kind of insurance this is?

I wonder if his house is in Florida. A lot of my neighbors were canceled late last year. USAA hasn’t cancelled us yet. A lot of insurance companies can’t afford to insure anymore. Especially small companies.
