Mostly white men who decided to display their woke-ness.
Golf has been on a downhill slide in my region since the last recession(2009). It can be an expensive hobby and time consuming. I don’t see many young people playing the game these days.
More than the PGA can afford to lose.

I will play it. But won’t watch or support the PGA. Very disappointed in them.

Never had any interest in golf. Now this clinches it.
I didn’t watch it anyway, so no loss there. Stopped NFL, MLB over the past two years. Never watched NBA, what a total waste of anyone’s time there. I have not missed any of it. We don’t even watch college basketball anymore. So stupid to see the arenas empty and the players all in each others faces just like always..... sheeple
Which region ? As one of the few activities safe and allowed in 2020, golf experienced a large resurgence unlike anything since Tiger 20 years ago.
Its the PGA—local golf pros—who have had some success reaching out to the youths with innovative activities. I do hope they stay out of politics.

I get it, but how do you suggest I stay connected? I don’t need the channels, but I do need the connection to the internet. My options where I am, ATT (slow) and Dish ($$$). So, Xfinity (Comcast) is my only avenue to continue to stay connected and we also operate two businesses out of our home. And no, I’m not an idiot.

Never was a golf fan so I really can’t “leave”. But I support those of you that do.
I will NEVER watch another golf tournament on TV. Even the Masters.
Central Illinois. Even though there were some bigger crowds than normal this year, WuFlu took out about 2 months of green fees. The courses were closed for about a month and when they opened back up were only at about 20% capacity for another month or so. I doubt they made any profit this year.

But man, we’re on the verge of something big happening.
There’s no way this country can handle what’s coming with Soros running this country.
Also, it was mostly us retirees. I didn’t see a lot of younger golfers out when I played.

I grew up in KKK county.
Now in AZ, a customer and acquaintance here will be Pres. of the PGA of America in 4 years. He’s a leader in youth golf and his facility is packed with kids, which may be one reason he was elected to leadership.
But yes, we boomers carried the golf business for decades...time for new blood.
They also raked Justin Thomas over the coals for his under the breath comment to himself saying “You f*g” when he missed a putt. Somehow they are trying to say he was disrespectful to Mayor Pete using this homophobic slur.
Good thing there are no mics in my golf league, the snowflowers would be a mess.
