Markets don't seem to care. I was trading futures tonight, and the Nasdaq futs were down nearly 200 at one point, but the Russell 2000 futures are right now hitting a daily high up 1.2%! Dow in unchanged. Are they nuts? This will CRUSH the economy. Is all they care about the "stimulus"?

The entire US military has under 1.4 million personnel, many of whom are clerks and administrators. They would face 125 million gun owners among 320 million people over a land area of 3 million square miles. Many of those gun owners are ex-military and know a few tricks of there iwn, and know how to train raw recruits.
The vaunted US military couldn’t subdue 32 million cave-dwelling savages inhabiting 250,000 square miles in 19 years...know they’re going to defeat 10x more people with far more knowledge and better weapons, living in 12x more territory? Oh, and would we bring home every single soldier from overseas and have no one guarding the nation against foreign invasion or attack?

But if anyone thinks states are just going to get to secede, or that civil disobedience will be tolerated or conservatives can rebel against their authority...you better take account of what they have at their command and their organization....compared to what our side has in organization and weaponry.
