Cotton breaks with conservative colleagues who will oppose electoral vote count
The Hill ^
Posted on 01/03/2021 9:23:54 PM PST by springwater13
Cotton warned that if Congress threw out the electoral votes of states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, where President Trump has alleged without evidence widespread election fraud, it would “take away the power to choose the president from the people.”
He said it would imperil the Electoral College and the voice it gives to smaller states like Arkansas and help Democrats “achieve their longstanding goal of eliminating the Electoral College.”
He said Congress if overrides the Electoral College’s vote, it would “take another big step toward federalizing election law.”
“Thus, I will not oppose the counting of certified electoral votes on Jan. 6,” he said.

I am thinking there is truly only ONE ruling class,, and the adjective Democrat or Republican is just a brand name like ford or chevy and the democrat /republican game is just to keep the people divided so we don't unite and go after THEM (the rotten globalist uniparty elites)
the people are too busy bickering and hating each other instead of hating the political ruling class who throws the begging peasants in the street a $600 stimulus scrap from the table to shut them up.
the politicians RESENT having to deal with this annoying election stuff

If Cotton is intelligent enough to form a sound belief that election fraud has occurred and is also perceptive enough to understand that the Electoral Control Act is a hodgepodge of unconstitutional compromises, then he should act to save the only process that keeps us from tyranny. Cotton, unfortunately is either too stupid or too conflicted to do the right thing. He bears watching.

BINGO! He thinks he is going to be part of the governance of the NWO. So sad . . . hasn’t anyone told him GOD IS IN CHARGE. . . .give this man a Bible and direct him to read the Book of Revelation . . . and learn about God’s New World Order.

It reminds me a that famous scene in “A Few Good Men” where Colonel Jessup says, “you want the truth, you can’t handle the truth.” Our Heavenly Father has slapped us in the face with the truth but didn’t provide any anestheisa beforehand.

I’m sorry but that’s just not proof. Rather that is just your supposition it seems to me. I’ve seen a whole lot of ridiculous conclusion jumping on this thread much of which is tied to something the author inserted as if it was something the Senator Cotton uttered, which he didn’t utter!!!

Two things:
1. I seen probably five videos that show suspicious behavior from voting officials in those states. We have sworn affidavits(evidence). To say there is no evidence is to deny facts. Find out what these people were doing in those videos.
2. How much fraudulent voting is allowed before it becomes “significant”? If my vote is cancelled by a fraudulent vote, then I am denied my right. Any fraud is wrong. If they admit to some “minor” fraud, then put those people in jail. There is no such things as MINOR fraudulent voting.

Paul Ryan? But this is Tom Cotton... Derps are interchangeable and all part of the same club working toward the same goal.
They follow orders.
This is not about R v D.
This is about preserving our way of life.

Cotton wants to pressure the STATE LEGISLATURES to stand up and DO THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES. And Cotton did NOT say “without evidence”. The writer of the stupid, slanted article wrote those words.
Since Cotton is refusing to back the constitutional remedy enshrined in the Constitution for just such an occasion where widespread fraud, and associated evidence, leaves no doubt that Donald Trump won this election, we are left with the following assumptions:
1. Cotton is ignoring the Evidence.
2. Why would he ignore that evidence?
Either he has been compromised by the Chineese or other actors or
He is a closet Deep State Globalist.

Excellent comment, ifinnegan.
You have gone straight to the heart of the issue.
Every MSM article I read opens with at least one gratuitous anti-Trump adjective - debunked, desperate, feeble...

Our nation was born in violence against England’s Tyranny. We resisted and killed and were also killed. Today is not much different as we have a judiciary that ignores constitutional law. That is why they want to take our weapons.
